Due to the time change they just announced, we will probably be meeting up around 1:30 or so. More updates next week!

OH YEAH!!!

Damn.. I love the lineup and I would go but its going to be the same day as night 2 of KROQ's Almost Acoustic Christmas. Since they are going to be in San Diego on the 13th it seems very likely that 30STM will be performing on night 1.

My offer to Morri, as I work for a University and we just went to this campus and I already had this stuff all together.

i got my tickets today so excited!

just a note for any of you visiting from out of town.... if you're making a weekend trip, there is tons to do in the area.
in less than 15-20 minutes you can get to:
Seaworld
The "world famous" San Diego Zoo
Hotel del Coronado
the San Diego Airport
the Haunted Whaley House (in Old Town San Diego)
Balboa Park
and of course, our many beautiful beaches!!

this is all stuff i'm thinking of off the top of my head, when i think of more stuff, i'll add it in the post.

1 more thing, there is an area right off of the interstate-8 called 'hotel circle' there are quite a few hotels all in 1 area, and this is close to the venue. i'm sure if you google 'san diego hotel circle' you can get more info.

AND when i got my tix this morning, i was notified that there is a parking fee of $10 for the venue.... so keep that in mind. carpool or possibly take a taxi if you don't want to pay their RIDICULOUS fee!

i got my tickets first thing this morning when the presale code was announced. i got them through ticketmaster... with the same presale code: 91xwrex. according to @91x twitter, the presale will only be going on until wednesday (tomorrow) closing at 10pm. otherwise you'll have to wait til friday when general sale is opened. just an FYI for 2 tickets (including taxes and fees) the total comes to $105.45

I was right!! KROQ just announced Almost Acoustic Christmas and 30 Seconds To Mars are playing night 1 on December 12!! I knew they were going to play and I just got further proof when my cousin asked Jared at the Listening Party if they were going to play a show in LA and he said they were but couldn't announce it.

It's finals week for me at that time and as my last full semester in college I really need to focus on those for job interviews and such in the spring.

I'm not sure what San Diego State's posting policy is but that is definitely a great place to do promo (since that's where you'll be anyway).

I also recommend ear plugs since it is an arena show and the sound quality of it isn't that great but you'll definitely come out ears ringing.

Next show I'll try my best to be at. Have fun!

Very cool, looking forward to seeing you guys! A bunch of us will have posters and stickers, so just look for people with arms full of stuff.

if you are coming to the show and want to promote but have no materials, feel free to utilize the files @thisisthehive/@30secondstomars have provided via twitter -- go to kinkos, get copies printed, and distribute/post them wherever you can.

capitol would like us to hit the inside of the venue as well, but it'll be challenging. i just encourage everyone to do what they can, whether solo or in teams. if you want some "official" promo, just look for anyone with the professionally printed stuff. capitol has provided a few of us with additional materials, so just ask. more than likely, we'll have extras for everyone. i'll try to bring what i can from the hive.

the most important thing to remember is to PHOTOGRAPH YOUR PROMOTION. quality isn't the key, so phonecams are fine. just make sure you document what you're doing with photos. the more, the better.

since doors are at 4:30, and 30 is on at 7, everyone aim to hit up whatever you can at least by 2-3PM, and after the band has played / after the show is ended. these are crucial times of the night.

i will probably arrive in san diego around 2, myself. tweet me if anyone wants to coordinate in any shape or form beyond the obvious tactics. @daikou

BANNER banners, or just regular posters? i have one banner left from the big freeway deal the other day. thought vb only gave us 4 but it was 5. we can use it if you think it's a good idea. why not, right?

i brought all of the posters/stickers i got from the street team to the hive yesterday.. gonna use them today too for decor but i'll take what i can for LA and SD promo.

Yeah! There are quite a few mreging places on the freeways up there.. 5/8 around the venue and I have one banner too. SD is the venure I am talking about and I have a few posters left myself. I think Jen has a bunch of posters as well and all of us will be at the LA show.

Maria, Kim, Nat and I are going to Oakland and have a couple of the pillow case banners for that show. Also stickers.

It'll be cold down here this weekend. 50-60 degree high temps with high probability of rain. Plan accordingly.
