Q- I have heard you guys talk about a DVD numerous times over the years [not including the mini DVD that was included with the Delux edition]. Are you ever actually going to release one? I know you guys must have tons of concert footage.. hours and hours worth!!

How does studio footage equate to the concert footage she's asking for?
Lily_17
They've said about 945873957493875 times they'll make a DVD (I'm sure they will in 20 years, haha). And I think this has been asked numerous times...

My guess is that she means concert + other footage. SarahKay, which do you mean?

Thanks Frostbite..
And I know it has been asked time and time again.. in hopes that they will see this.. I know they recorded almost all their shows for Forever Night Never Day tour. I want some concert footage man! I'm sure I'm not the only one. Studio footage is going to be nice.. but you get the jist of what I'm saying.

Hey Sarah, like Lily said, they said that a gazillion times already they were doing DVD and I made a thread some time ago in here, where people asked for specific footage they wanted to see..

When will there be a DVD with live footage available?

and even a petition for the Brixton show they did in 2007..

WE WANT MORE!! BRIXTON DVD PETITION LIST

Hopefully with the reading and answering some of the questions in here we will get one in the not to distant future biggrin.gif
Shannimal
you're hallucinating smile.gif
SarahKay
It doesn't hurt to ask again. Any reminder is good if you ask me. And I would like more footage than Brixton.. smile.gif

Thanks for posting that though. I had actually commented in it and forgot about it. haha

Well... i just thought that maybe they could do something like Mike Portnoy did:
8 hours of "how to play drums".
But in this particular case it would be 8 hours of concerts and making-of.

No you didn't. Just admit you weren't paying attention. It's ok.

I personally would love to see all the crazy shiat that goes down in the recording studio...also seeing how the process unfolds would be very cool too, much like the video Metallica did for St. Anger I believe it was. Even some teaser clips on youtube would tide most of us over for the time being...
Jezzabel
I think I read somewhere (Kerrang mag last year???) that they record their shows to watch after the performance to see how they can improve the show, what worked and what didn't kind of thing. I have no energy to look for that interview though.

Well release one already! I've seen them 10 times.. and all 10 times were great.. during the SC show in 06 the sound was kind of effed up though... thats my only complaint.. Jared sounded like a chipmunk. HAHA

I found it. It's in this article: http://thirtysecondstomars.forumsunlimited...t=0&start=0 in the third scan, second last paragraph.
"Done, but not finished, the band are now off back to their dressing room to watch a video of tonight's performance. Because however good it was, it can always be better."

SarahKay
Well I wont stop asking til we get one! haha I know they lurk on here! Esp lately with the new record hype.
