About Me
Where do I start? I've never been any good at writing these...
I first heard 30 Seconds to Mars in Autumn of 2002 when Capricorn's heavy guitars, ethereal electronics, and atmospheric vocals boxed my ears and slapped me upside the head. In the dizzying madness of Capricorn's auditory assault on my brain, I came upon the realization that this band had effortlessly piqued my musical masochism. I was loving every second of it and couldn't wait to get hit again. Shortly thereafter, I picked up their self-titled debut from Best Buy...it was the only copy that they had. Though it would be years before I became active in the 30 Seconds to Mars community, I was a dedicated listener and follower nevertheless for my first three years as a fan of the band, lurking on the boards, keeping up to date with 30 Seconds to Mars' propaganda, and being devastated by unfortunately being too broke of a college student to see them open for Incubus.
As for the rest of me, I'm a musician at heart, distracted by other things only for a short time before making my way back to writing/playing/performing music. I am currently involved in a band called 7 Corners.
Don't let my brash mannerisms on the boards fool you- I'm actually very easy to get along with, and I'll have a conversation with anyone who wants one.
