Accommodation:
Schladming is one of austrias most famous skiing-areas so there are a lot of hotels - during skiopening it might be not that easy to find a cheap one... (not only during skiopening) - in Schladming the next FIS world championsship will take place... just as a reference of the area and prices....
there should be some arrangements including ski-opening, hotel and ski-pass at www.schladming.at
THE SKI-OPENING IS AN OPEN AIR IN THE SNOW (so warm shoes and clothes are highly recommended :-) )
here are some pics from last years ski-opening so can imagine the area:

Ooooh don't tempt me with skiing. My broken butt and injured knee is still recovering, yet strangely enough I just thought about when I can go skiing again. LOL just out of curiosity, how does one get there?

train, car, bus, whatever!
austrian ski-regions are easy-to-reach and the planai stadion is at the parking area, at the station at the bottom of the ski lifts.
not that I've been there before..... but friends told me, that will be no problem...

we go there by car (except winter is coming immediatly, then we gonna change to train!) and return after the show (or probably a lil bit after show party - a normal one!)
you can go there by train - from vienna about 4 - 5 hours (depending on the train).

I have an URGENT question: my friend and I were planning to go to the Schladming gig, but as I was booking the tickets on oeticket i found out that you can only pick them up at some oeticket center that are either in Vienna, or Graz, Salzburg etc.
And we're obviously too late to have them delivered to Italy.
Is there no way to pick up the tickets in Schladming?
Please help me

I was totally blown away by their perfomance yesterday. They obviously enjoyed every second and Jared had his voice back! And he SANG! Almost all the words to the song
He also cut down the jump jumps and the talking
Setlist was the usual but for me, it didn't even matter. I had the time of my life. Best Mars concert this year, best goodbye I could imagine
I'm gonna nurse my post concert depression with some pics and videos (will upload and post
)
