Yes, I bought a ticket for a friend and haven't been able to print. I contacted them and they replied:
"Hello Ken,Thank you for contacting us. I apologize but the promoter has placed atemporary delivery delay on your event. I regret any inconvenience this maycause and will send your tickets to you via TicketFast as soon as possible."
Although I could speculate wildly about that, I'll just keep tapping my foot impatiently and trying every few days.

I know a few other people who are going, but I don't think they post here anymore so I won't include their names.
Candy O - we HAVE to hang out outside of the venue this time! You're still on Facebook, right? Send me a message there and let me know when you are arriving in NYC and when you are leaving. I am only going to the show on the 7th and even though I have a floor ticket, I'm not standing on line all day. I've rarely found the need to do that. I usually get decently close if I want to (or I hang in the back). I'm taking off from work that day so I can come into the city a bit early and we can grab a bite or something (if you're not standing in line). I can't hang around after the show because I will need to catch a train.
Oh, and count on it being cold! You mentioned Baltimore but the temp in NY can be quite colder than down there and by Dec 7, I 95% guarantee that you will need a winter coat unless it's a crazy weird, warm day.

After seeing your message and KenV's, I tried printing my tickets and also got that message. It said that it should be resolved in 24hrs. Did your message say that?

Yes. Lol at myself... I went back every 24h for like 5 days before the feeling that I was a fool set in.
I guess they will release them at some random time without notice to anyone. I plan to truly start worrying about 10d before the show.

Is there anybody that has been able to print their tickets at home?

Yes you can haz sticker. Although this print at home tickets held up by the promoter thing that KenV and others are discussing has me a wee bit concerned... which is why I always hold off printing gig specific stickers until the last minute. Cause I don't want to jinx it.
I will absolutely pack long johns Miss Hot House AZ chicky because then it will be nice and warm and I won't need them. It's gonna work.
LOL well I don't know about a Santa Claus Thru The Back Door THEME - I just thought it would be randomly fun if they played that for the Holiday season

Yes I am and will do. I'm just doing the 7th with a GA Floor as well. Although right now I don't know if I am busing it all the way up and staying over or just coming up for the night if I catch a ride with friends. Either way, I am not gonna stand in line all day. I would like to get there at least an hour before doors, hand out stickers, then find a bar to duck into for a bite and a drink... and water cause I don't want another fainting incident hahaa. I owe you a water or whatever you like. So finding something close to the venue so we can hang sounds likes a smashing idea. If anyone else is less line inclined and more into chilling, you are welcome too.
Shhhh I am planning on a crazy weird warm day. 60's will do. Long johns, winter coat and IT WILL HAPPEN.
One month from today... it's getting fun now.

Excuse the rant. It's just stressing me, and weird they're not saying anything at all. I'm sure I'm not the only one who's been asking.
EDIT: I'm beginning to suspect that the 6th & 7th may be the only shows & that the guys aren't saying anything hoping we will forget they made a big issue about a week of shows. Haha. Regardless, I'm thinking I need to probably go ahead and book my stuff & hopefully have it changeable if necessary. However... totally lost... I read all the info on the first post & got more lost. The directions kept saying how to get to Manhattan or this or that, but since the venue is listed in NY... that is no help!
Which airport do I want? And where is a decent area to stay reasonably cheap? I usually stay at Motel 6 when I travel, so I'm not all picky. I'll share if necessary, but figure I'll check around before I decide. I'm wondering if NJ would be good like phenyx876 suggested, but my Mom was saying the taxi will charge a ton to cross the river or something weird... Help?

But would given the importance of the occasion, maybe formal dress would be appropriate.
White tie for the gentlemen, evening dresses for the ladies?
Somehow or another I don't think anyone else will go for this though.

It's REALLY easy to get to Manhattan if you fly into Newark Airport(NJ). You just take the train directly from Newark Airport to NY Penn Station. It's only $12.50 & Hammerstein Ballroom is literally like a block away or less from NY Penn Station. And the train ride is only about 30min(because it makes other stops along the way). Just be sure to take the train to NY Penn Station because there's also a Newark Penn Station & it's been known to confuse out-of-towners. I don't suggest taking a cab ever, your Mom is right it's way too expensive! Public transportation is the best way to do it around here. As far as hotels go, they're pretty expensive in NYC. I absolutely recommend staying on the Jersey side, it's easy & inexpensive to go back & forth from NYC via public transportation. Private message me if you need more info.

The only thing I would add is wherever you decide to stay (if you actually want to sleep there after the show), make sure you know what times public transportation still runs to your crash spot overnight. And that you have company during that late night travel; although NYC is much safer than it used to be, you really shouldn't travel alone late at night, especially if you are not familiar with the city. My 2 cents.

Maybe they were waiting to sell out the sixth show before deciding to do any others? Now that has happened (yesterday), perhaps they'll announce something more?
I hope they don't decide to do some small invite-only something. Unless they invite all of us

depending on where she stays, the last train leaving penn station is usually around 1-1:30am to all destinations. which should be plenty of time. i take the train alot for concerts in the city because parking is way too expensive unless you're carpooling with other ppl & sharing the cost
