Jared`s blog - discuss

The labyrinth at the Chartres cathedral. More on labyrinths here:
Crop circles: was my second thought. While googling I found out it's one of the topics Stephen Hawking wrapped his formidable brain around. He said they're either hoaxes or formed by vortex movement of air.

But the pattern made me think of labyrinths as well. Also, when we talked about manholes a while ago, people were trying to find alternative names that... erm...perhaps don`t appear in the Urban Dictionary. Well, `storm drain` doesn`t seem to have a double meaning. So, problem solved I guess (?).
Here`s a list of 11 things that can weaken one`s immune system (according to http://www.rediff.co...em/20110104.htm ), not all of it relates to colds:
- poor diet (full of refined sugar and processed food)
- too much alcohol
- not enough sleep
- lack of exercise
- excessive use of antibiotics and cold and fever fighting medications
- lack of proper hygiene
- chemical and UV radiation exposure (that`s for skin)
- smoking and passive smoking
- not enough water in your body
Having said that, I must also point out that I`ve gone out into the cold for 3 minutes with my hair wet this morning. It might just be a coincidence but my nose seems a little runny now and I sneezed a couple of times...

And I also say the same to my mom when she says "dress warmly or you'll get sick".
It's only Jared's blog that has suddenly and weirdly been filtered as Suspicious;Entertainment when I click on ya'lls links. I wonder if settings/etc were changed when he wiped things clean then brought it back. Whatever.
So I ponder, over coffee and then lunch, as to what images ya'll are describing and finally get to see what the actual product is once I get home. The mystery and waiting is kinda fun.
It's the little things.

That goes with this, I'm thinking :

It's still not a Shannon pic from Jared, but wouldn't you say we're getting a little bit closer?

Date: 2011-09-18. China Southern Airlines, somewhere in the air between the Chinese continent and the Japanese islands.
Good picture. Nicely captures what life's been like for them over the past two years: vagabonds of the skies.
Fair winds then to everyone this evening!

Spaghetto`s in India right now and I`m anxiously awaiting some pics. IF he posts any, we should be expecting lots of vibrant colours and beautiful patterns. I hope Jared enjoys the Indian food - my favourite. I`m just drooling thinking of all the heat, the flavours and colours on the plate.
