How to get there?
By car:
From Düsseldorf/Oberhausen/Dortmund:
From junction Leverkusen to A3 direction of Frankfurt
Junction Cologne East (Köln Ost) on to the city motorway B55 in direction of Cologne-Zentrum (Köln Zentrum) til you see the signs "Lanxess Arena" then off the motorway and follow the signs.
From Olpe/Siegen:
Until Junction Heumar then onto A4 in the direction of Aachen until Junction Gremberg. Take the A559 direction "Köln-Deutz" until the end of the highway. then follow the signs
From Bonn/Airport Cologne-Bonn:
A 559 direction of "Köln Zentrum, - Deutz" until the end of the Highway.
From Aachen, Koblenz, Euskirchen:
Junction "Köln-West" onto A4 direction of Olpe, Frankfurt. Take Highway until Junction Gremberg then A 559 direction of "Köln-Deutz" and follow that until the end of the Highway
From Krefeld, Neuss:
A57 until end of the Highway then take B55 in the direction of "Zoobrücke, Autobahnkreuz Köln-Ost" until exit "Lanxess Arena"
You can park directly hat the venue. The Parking Garages P1 to P4 are available and you can reach them through the "Opladener Straße" that is underneath the Arena in a tunnel.
Parking costs 1,30€ per hour and you have to pay before leaving. BUT! You can also pay before going to the show by choosing the "Arena Tarif" on one of the parking ticket machine and pay 4,50€ . This way you won't have to wait after the show at the machine and that ticket lasts until 6am the following morning.
By train
The ticket you purchase for the show counts as a ticket in the Underground and Metro as long as it says so on the ticket. (If you purchase your ticket via Eventim it should be valid on the Subway and Underground)
It is valid from 4 hours before the doors open until closing hours.

Bahnhof Deutz/Messe
Köln Deutz
Deutz-Kalker Bad
Metro lines 1, 3, 4 and 9 and bus lines 150, 153, 156, 250 and 260 stop directly at the Arena.
There's nothing special planned by fans as far as I know now even though I think some people wanted to do something. I just don't know what and/or if but as soon as I hear something about it I'll add the info and you can decide if you take part in it or not.
UPDATE:
Some people on the german boards decided to hold up signs that say THANK YOU during This is war. Everybody who likes to is welcome to join. Print out your signs and hold them up when the line "Raise your hands into the sky" is sung.
