THIRTY SECONDS TO MARS and PLACEBO will be playing a special event for the 125th Mercedes Benz anniversary.

Open-air concert with Placebo and 30 Seconds To Mars

A musical highlight of the Stuttgart All-Star Festival is scheduled for Thursday evening at Schlossplatz square. With "30 Seconds to Mars" and "Placebo", Mercedes-Benz has scooped two hot international acts to perform on stage in the heart of Stuttgart. An audience of around 35,000 is expected. Admission will begin at 4 p.m. Tickets are available from all the familiar advance booking offices as of 8 July 2011 at a thank-you price of 15 euros (including all advance booking charges and free local transport to the event).

I'll be there too and I'm quiet excited cause it's my first 30stm show. I hope I get some good pictures to accompany a blog post with them. I have little hope though because I can just stand about 2 hours earlier in line and only bring my shitty camera along, but we'll see. Wish me luck. Everybody who's going: let's have a blast!

I have to agree. The concert itself was pretty good. Jared talked too much, but it was funny and his voice was great again. The setlist could have been better, but unfortunately that´s nothing new these days.

I wasn't too happy with the set list either but apart from that I thought the show was lots of fun. I got pretty close to the stage, around 10th row.
