Is that didactic, or more of an opinion expressed in art. Didactic is meant to instruct. To me there is a subtle difference. Or is the message more like even the suits and ties amongst you can be monsters. Wolves in sheeps clothing...people for the most part tend to feel that a suit and tie gives some sort of credibility to a person. Why dress up and ax murdering pedophile before you cart him off to court, or don a suit and tie to stand before a judge for a traffic offense? Or to try and and sell me something? Maybe I'm off base with the coorporate idea although the bands court issues biographically lean that way. Maybe the nightmare is that even what we should be most able to trust in is in reality what we should fear the most.

Instruct to kick ass. An immature way for me to put it in words but what I meant was that the whole `Jared kicks corporate chimp`s butt` thing was a soft version of the sort of propaganda put forward by punk rock (perhaps?). I was thinking of punk rock as didactic art and how the message in Hurricane (or one of the messages) is didactic in a similar way. But you may be right. It may just be an expression of their opinion/view of the corporate world as they are not directly instructing us to boycott it.
The dressing up to court thing is highly psychological. It`s aimed at the juries who are more likely to acquit someone dressed up, shaved and with a nice hair cut than someone who `looks` like a criminal. Unfortunately, that is one of the reasons why corporate/white collar criminals are more likely to get away with crime. People just don`t see them as criminals. `They wear nice suits, why would they be criminals?` is the view of the general public, a dangerous view.
Now don`t even get me started on the people who are trying to sell you stuff lol. `No, thanks` is my favourite phrase sometimes.
I like your last sentence. So true (in my opinion).

Actually, I thought that scene was supposed to be a tribute to those soldiers, not something disrespectful.

And for a shallow moment, gah, Jared shirtless through the whole video? Yes. Please.
I need to go watch it again to digest it.
