Anybody know of any sites offering exclusives or freebies with the pre-order of this is war, i know www.recordstore.co.uk is offering a poster with the pre-order of kings and queens, but not the full album.

Play MP3 download - £7.55
Itunes £7.99 - Kings and Queens LA Riots Vocal Mix & Night of The Hunter Flood Remix (Pre-Order Only)
Tesco £8.95 - Free delivery I think, very confusing site to buy from.
Zavvi £8.95 - Free delivery
Asda £8.93 - Free delivery



Surprisingly, if your just out to grab the cheapest hardcopy deal, Asda seems the best bet.

Also remember, that after the first week the album in most shops are going to shoot back up to something like £15.99 RRP

Hey there, you can pre-order at amazon, play.com and HMV. They are the links on the official site.

However....the record store that were doing the pre-orders at Koko was Banquet records, they are offering a free A2 poster with pre-orders of the album

Ive pre-ordered from HMV. You get a free sticker. ohmy.gif

HMV are quite good with pre-orders, sometimes get it on the Saturday.

Pre-ordered Kings and Queens from Recordstore, and it still hasn't been despatched yet...

you can pre order on itunes and you get two extra songs; a kings and queens mix and night of the hunter mix
although you don't get a hard copy

Night of the Hunter (Static Revenger Rock Redux) and Kings and Queens (Innerpartysystem Remix Main)

Night of the hunter mix is pretty cool, Kings and Queens mix on the other hand mellow.gif

You can hear the Innerpartysystem remix on their "Winter mixtape" from the innerpartysystem official website... it's a great mix!!! i love it.
NOTH mix is actually quite good! im not normally into rock band remixes (especially the attempts at Muse songs) but these are really good

Has your Kings and Queens arrived?

My order status still says "Sent for package"

Hopefully when i get in, it will be sat on my doormat...


I love the Night of the Hunter remix . I've not heard the K&Q remix yet.

EDIT: Ive just heard the Kings and Queens Remix... not so much a remix, just a rave beat with Kings and Queens over the top. hmm

EDIT 2: got home, no Kings and Queens sitting on my doormat, not best pleased...

yeah i got the remixes off the kings and queens, tbh they're not that great
i think i'll give the itunes pre order a miss for the others

i think i'll go for amazon, they're usually pretty quick with deliveries

Just thought I'd tell you....I pre-ordered this morning from HMV and got an e-mail tonight to say it's in the post!!! I could have it by friday..there's speed for you...how the heck they can do that when it's not due for release till next week is beyond me but hey ho...I aint complaining! tongue.gif

I decided to pre-order with play in the end, (I wanted to grab a t-shirt there as well). Had an email Monday, saying the order has been dispatched, i couldn’t believe it, I may have this is war in my hands by the end of the week, looked at the email later on that night, turns out, only the t-shirt had been dispatched. Yarghhhh !!!!!!

I got the same!

It says delivery time is 2-5 days, so i might get it Saturday.

It only ever happened to me once, pre-ordering an album from HMV and getting it on the Saturday, but fingers crossed it will happen again...

If you pre-order from iTunes you get 2 remixes as bonus tracks, are they the same as the ones on the Kings and Queens EP?
