I'm a little sad that songs like "Revenge" and "Under presseure" are not being released on This is War..
No doubt This is War will be AMAZING!! but those songs are just breathtaking..
I've looked forward to those songs for months! but still... it's gonna be amazing the new album.. I'm repeating my self..
but i't can't be said enough... AMAZING!
Back on topic... Anyone with me on this one?
I'm a little sad.. Amazing unknown songs!

Yeah I was looking forward to The Believer, man that song sounded soo good even in the crappy quality of the live version. I hope they properly recorded that song and release it at some point in the future. That would have been my favourite song.

I like the fact that some songs are being played on shows, but not released on records - gives me the opportunity to actually enjoy the songs w/o girl choires singing along

I just have to say it....those demo songs...Sisters of Heresy and all that.....they weren't anything special. At all. My opinion might not mean shit to you, but if the band's opinion wasn't the same as mine...then this thread wouldn't exist because those songs would be on This is War. It's better that they're not.

I'm with you on that. People were creaming over those bootlegs as they do anything related to the band, regardless of it's quality or lack there of.
I do love 'Revenge' though, and this one SOS all 40 seconds of it

Hay! you take that back! SOH was an amazing song with awesome guitar.
I think the reason these songs are not on the album (even though it sucks big donkey) is because we (or they) had already heard them and they were passed around the web like a 2$ hooker. Pretty sure they had to come up with brand new material for the new album.
But...I don't see why they can't come out with some type of random album which includes some kickass remixes (maybe some trance, yah?*eyes light up*) and SOH, SOS, The Believer aka the "baby" song, Revenge...and countless others. It would make sense...
