Agreed more drama is not needed, but there are a lot of people that would want to know a person they had some feelings for is not really dead.

That's pretty fucked up, no, REALLY fucked up. I was saying when it happend that those close to him were acting way too blase about his 'death' and to me it seemed, disrespectful, now I know why.
The band even went out of their way to tweet condolences to the family *shakes head* and here we all are looking stupid for giving a shit.
Thanks to all those involved in the scam..Karma is a bitch they say.

I find the whole thing disgusting, and just plain horrible. I feel so stupid for mourning an amazing friend, who I thought I'd lost, for five months, then to find out he never actually died

WTF??Not adding much to the discussion, other then I want to say I find it very unconsidered to toy with people's emotions upon finding out about xxx's death!
Glad it's in fact not the case, but what a way to toy with people's true feelings....

I am wondering, if he was in the hospital, how did the story of his death come about? Is it something his family put out there to the friends of his they were in contact with? I am thinking if he was in hospital, then jail then a rehab of sorts that he was in no position to keep up his internet contacts so ... what? Who virtually killed him?
I won't lie, I cried when I found out he died. We weren't best buds or whatever but we did have some fun and significant interactions here and I always thought of him as a sweetheart. He was going to live on my balcony. It was also the injustice of someone dying so young. I am glad he's not dead but I feel like a huge sucker and I kind of want to know who was yanking my chain. Or at least, how it came about that this lie was spread as truth.
