I believe in reincarnation and Karma. Those 2 goes hand in hand. Our souls start their journey from rocks, insects, mammals etc. and when they are evolved enough they start their journey as humans. Every life is a test. Soul have ages and every life gets you closer to the next 'level'. How do you get to the next level? Well, following your soul's true purpose. You may not know it yet or you do. The point is to find that purpose and follow it. For example. My soul's purpose is to help others and give inspiration. My Soul is old, which means that I'm close to the source(meaning God). How do I know that my Soul is old? By learning to know the true me and reading guides that help me with this journey. Karma is the law of lives. If you have alot of it, your journey to the source takes longer if you don't have Karma. I'm in the point of paying my Karma back to the world. It may take years, or even hundreads of years. But at the end my soul will get to where it came from. So, answer to your question is; No, you can't go back. You can stay put or go forward, but not back. edit. When soul's journey is over as human, it will evolve as a higher being. 2nd edit. This is just my view of things and it's not the only truth. We each have our own. But how do we know that the next level isn't sometime 5000 years ago? You are working from the assumption that each level is a jump into the future...but what if the higher being lived before us? Then there would be no reason to have to go forward in time, we'd have to go back in time to reach that level. I don't think time=spiritual evolution. What I'm really asking is, could our next incarnation be in Ancient Greece, for example? I suppose that for you, that would depends on how you define a "higher being". (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) I rather like this thread. |

I don't believe that we could go to Ancient Greece (or anywhere in the past) because it's already been done and over with. Only way is forward. And yes, soul's cycle could take 5000 years. It depends how 'fast' the soul evolves. Higher being is non-human and doesn't live on Earth. |

It depends how 'fast' the soul evolves. Higher being is non-human and doesn't live on Earth. It could only be done and over with if our souls followed the normal law of time. But I see no reason why they should, seeing as if souls do exist they exist on an entirely different plane of reality to us. Why should they follow the laws of time? Maybe our souls haven't experienced what we would think to be the past yet. If time is connected to space in one plane of reality, and souls aren't living in that same plane, then why would they follow the laws of our time in our plane? Maybe our higher being is non-human and on another planet...but is it improbable to suggest that when our souls progress onto that higher being, it might be a higher being from 2000 years previously? It doesn't make them any lower than humans, so what is stopping the soul from using it as the next level? If you know what I mean (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Thank goodness you know what I mean, I was starting to confuse myself (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) Now its time for rice pudding. Any of those berries available? They'd make a lovely topping. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy.gif) |

Ever had a black cherry milkshake?
Now those are delicious. I used to have them all the time as a kid, but the Wimpys downtown stopped selling them and I haven't found anyone else who does (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) I haven't had one for years. |

Wearing pyjamas and thermals I hope? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) Found mushrooms no berries yet.Danm squirrles it is cold up on the mountain - but i am all over it - i have been on top with the best view in the world, and at the bottom looking up, wondering how i am ever going to climb it again...and everywhere in between (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) eskimo kisses keep me warm and i am in my p.j.'s right now, since i am chillaxin' for a while. I LOVE MY PJ'S! oh yea - i just pre-ordered THIS IS WAR cd (better late than never) ! it is my christmas present to ME! did you order your tiger, tiger burning bright yet? mars had the nerve to frame its fearful symmetry and i am thrilled that they did (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) in my opinion the tiger must also be meek like the lamb. the tiger must humbly submit to his need for survival - he is also meek when presented with the choice to live or die. god did create the beautiful tiger and the lamb as well. and if you have no idea what i am talking about - use the internet and look up the poem...by William Blake. 1757–1827 "The Tiger" |
