But how do we know that the next level isn't sometime 5000 years ago? You are working from the assumption that each level is a jump into the future...but what if the higher being lived before us? Then there would be no reason to have to go forward in time, we'd have to go back in time to reach that level. I don't think time=spiritual evolution. What I'm really asking is, could our next incarnation be in Ancient Greece, for example? I suppose that for you, that would depends on how you define a "higher being". Ever had a black cherry milkshake?
Now those are delicious. I used to have them all the time as a kid, but the Wimpys downtown stopped selling them and I haven't found anyone else who does (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) I haven't had one for years. |
