I'll be there! I'm working on some of my friends as well.

I was really hoping that 30STM would be headlining this show! The last time they played this venue was for the MTV2 tour, back in the day when 89X wouldn't even play them on the air. I remember having the 89X program director Vince Cannova sign the banner that we made for Tomo and he signed it "Detroit loves 30STM" to which I wanted to reply "so why don't you play them?"

... we've come a long way!

I really like one of the opening bands - After Midnight Project. They are based in LA, but several of the guys are originally from Michigan - so they have a great hometown crowd here. And their sound and stage energy will be a great fit with 30STM. I'm hoping that they tour together next year. When 89X was asking for band suggestions - I asked for 30STM and AMP, so I'm very happy!!

So it means that I will cut my Chicago weekend short, but that's OK. I couldn't miss a Detroit 30STM show!! Plus it will be great to see everyone!

Lily - they haven't announced the tkt prices yet, but if I remember from past years, 89X usually keeps the prices reasonable. You should definitely come! And if you need a place to crash you are more than welcome.
