Additional information:

A Note About Safety and Security~Baton Rouge is an urban setting and it has been known to be sketchy, especially around the LSU area. PLEASE--DO NOT CAMP OUTSIDE THE VENUE. Campus police will likely make you move along, and it is not safe. It is not known as "Rape Central" for nothing. I plan to get in touch with campus police and local law enforcement to find out what is an acceptable time to start the line and post that information as I have it (or if one of the local folks want to do that, it's all good too ). I only put this warning for your safety. If you choose to ignore it, that is your choice. But please consider being safe.

Edit: Ok so I'll be driving from Katy/Houston and we're leaving that Monday, the 7th in the early-late morning *it's about an 4.5 hr drive from me according to google that is * and we're coming back on the 9th. I can offer a ride to anyone coming further west *just stop at my house* or along the I-10 fwy to Baton Rouge.

I can fit up 3-4 comfortably in my car but I can max it out to 6 (we'll just have little luggage space) I have a 2000 Dodge Durango in case ur wondering. At this point I have two possible friends coming with me, and thats if they can get the days off. So I can offer a ride to 1-2 other persons for sure as of right now. You can send me a message via Myspace/Twitter/or Facebook *links below* Those would be best since I have txt updated set to my phone.

As far as the hotel I'm staying at, I've checked prices already for Marriott/Courtyard, Cook Hotel, Embassy Suites, & Holiday Inn. So far Holiday Inn is wining with an advance booking (meaning payin full at time of reservation) for two double beds at $116/night. I am checking other hotels within a 5 mile radius that have been rated at 3 stars & up *via google* (even though sometimes that's not always reliable) So if you want Mary (AxeGoddess) I can post what I find later on late tonight. I'm not sure how far down you've gotten on ur list, and also I don't know right off the back which are the best places (as far as area/safety/bedbugs) so if locals can help point out which is what I'd luv u forever

Definitely check your reviews. That's how I found out about the LaQuinta.

The ones I posted are 2 mi or closer, so definitely the further out you are the better. Just be aware that it is VERY easy to get lost in Baton Rouge. Especially at night (I have several times). If you have a list though, Kristine, you can PM them to me and I'll add them. That would be a great. I haven't had a chance to look for the ones further out--been sewing.

The color RED is important for many reasons and will remain so. It is the color of passion, the color of blood, the color of MARS. It should be left on the MARS flag, TRINITY seal, MITHRA seal and TYRE - (the arrow) ONLY from here on out. For this next phase BLACK attire will be the foundation and the canvas to build upon.
