Helios, *waves* I'll try to do it right! Sign me up to do the Roll Call! Sherry

TODAY IS THE DAY!! I'llcheck the boards and twitter just seconds before I'm out the door, after that I'll announce everything I hear of, through @MarsNBT so go follow, turn on the Mobile button so you get the msgs. I'll try to reply back if you get lost or need help. I may not reply instantly because both the cell i"m using and ME are old!!

Sharpies, something to sign on, Ear Plugs, CHAPSTICK, gloves (maybe those little pocket warmers too), a hat or ear muffs may help, batteries, charge cords, memory cards....snacks, gum, mints,

IF you have LAWN tickets the LAWN is WET, bring a thick trash bag, like for the lawn, slit one side and the bottom, openit up, and THEN set your blanket or towel or chair on that to sit on the lawn!! You can fold it tiny in your pocket to bring it in.

The parking lot is actually huge grass fields, it will be MUDDY.

Enter the parking lot from 301 entrance. NOT ORIENT Road (VIP only and Horse SHow entrance) and NOT Dr. Martin Luther King (Gun Show entrance)

VIP's take Orient Road exit, veer right at bottom of exit, take 2nd driveway on left (first one goes to a trucking school..if you go in there, it's a circle back out) go to gate guard, show tickets, they'll direct you.

Shark JUST announced at 7pm Dec, 1, 2009, on air, that 30 Seconds to Mars will BE IN THE SIGNING BOOTH for about an hour and a half, SIGNING the new cd THIS IS WAR, and I quote Shark, "around 1PM or after, don't quote me on the time" You can get the CD autographed BEFORE IT'S EVEN RELEASED HERE!! YAHOOO!!

Shall we congregate at the signing booth all morning?? LOL!!

97X DJ'S HAD THIS TO SAY ABOUT NBT09
-

PRESS/PHOTO PASSES are given out by each band and not 97X or the Ford Ampitheatre.. you have to contact management of each band for a pass to be in the photo pit area during their set.

MEET/GREETS - the 97X DJ's said that each band would have a greet and meet time and announcements would be made. I do not know how this will work.. but I would just pay attention to any tweets or announcements closer to the time...
In previous NBT09 - there was a box for you to put your name in the hat for each band.

VIP AREA - this is where the interviews will be taking place with the various bands and stuff...in addition to what you already have as a VIP person..

BACKSTAGE PASSES - the station announced that they do not have backstage passes as such. There are passes being given out & you have to follow on twitter & listen to the station for the chance to win these...
(via Leavchip, Thanks Becky!)

ITEMS ALLOWED TO BRING IN:
Food allowed in a one gallon clear plastic bag. One per person. (ziplock bags work well)
One sealed 20 oz. bottle of water per person.
Low profile sand chairs no higher than 9-inches from the ground and the chair back cannot exceed 24-inches.
Blankets. (if your tickets are on the lawn)
One SMALL soft-sided collapsible cooler.
Umbrellas (tote style).

SMOKING POLICY: - Smoking IS permitted in Lawn and Plaza areas
- Smoking is NOT permitted in the Pavilion seating area
(via PleasantKJ, Thanks!)

I will be there.

They are selling VIP tickets for $250. It includes 2 tickets, VIP parking, VIP seating, drink service for the entire day, access to private VIP bathrooms, 2 t-shirts, and the VIP area that you will sit in is where they will be conducting the band interviews all day. I've been to the VIP area at this venue before and its AWESOME.

That being said, I'm planning on buying the VIP seats, but I am only one person and I need/want someone else to join me. If you are planning to go and want to pay me at least $100 (keeping in mind "regular" tickets are about $70, so you really wouldn't be spending that much more) for the other VIP ticket/amenities please message me and we can talk things over. I don't have any "real life" friends that will want to go to this concert and I would much rather have great seats/experience in the VIP sections.

Thanks! Can't wait to see all who shows up! smile.gif

i really want to go but im in miami. sad.gif tampa is 5 hours away from where i live. 30 seconds to mars should go to american airlines arena. i know a bunch of friends who would go:)

Sonic_vision and & drove to Ft. Lauderdale from Tampa to Orlando - for Depeche Mode - our viewpoint is if the band is worth it the drive doesn't matter... wink.gif

pssst vanna - you can use your EDIT button to go in and fix a post after the fact - it's on your own posts, on the bottom right next to REPLY and QUOTE. smile.gif

and now on to the matter at hand
GO EAST COAST! GO EAST COAST!
SHAKE IT FLORIDA - SHAKE IT FLORIDIA!

Right down there... too far away for me. But I AM closer to it than you are Nine wink.gif

erm I might need a purple shirt!!! damn I don't do tee shirts so we will have to talk.. but go us... and Nine- I really want to see you in the Pit whooaaa and all the single ladying.. tongue.gif

Ok part of why the USA isn't posting yet is most are buying the presale tickets which started at 5pm today.... I know several have just gotten their tickets so I expect more posting soonishly...

And my guess is there will be a bunch more USA shows popping up in the next few days....

If I was closer I would take you up on sharing that VIP package just cause it's been FOREVER and I deserve a treat so it would be worth it. Of course, as soon as Mars was due to come on stage I would drag you from the VIP area so we could get close to the pit... on the side of course. I don't have a death wish!

I am sooo happy for you guys!!! smile.gif

I wish I could go, but Aaron can't request days off from Nov. 15 to Jan. 15 because of Christmas season sad.gif unless he has to work a day on a weekend then he can get a day during weekdays off, but we already have plans to use that weekday during December. I will patiently wait for west coast tour dates as long as they are on a weekend. I hope for a weekend in LA tongue.gif
