I would hope that Jared doesn't physically throw the songs in the trash but puts them away for the future use in some way. To me it would be like someone who writes poetry or short stories- you have stacks of journals with your creative writings and one day you go through them and pull out something that works for what you need at that moment.

I have the cd,so I can tell you that it says Jared wrote all the songs except "L490" was written by Shannon.
