Hi there. New to the board so not sure if this is the right place. Just a general query really. I am due to get married towards the end of the year. My fianceé jokes to me that ''if Jared Leto was to turn up to our wedding, she'd jilt me''. Fair enough I guess as the man is highly regarded in this household, lol. What I would really love to do is have a quick 30 second message (no pun intended) from the band just to wish her luck on the big day. I am planning on giving her staggered gifts on the wedding morning with this, should it be possible, to be the main one! Does anyone know how to go about this, have contact with any of the band members or management, I would be forever in your debt. She is a huge 30STM fan who has been to see them in London, has posters, tattoos and everything and I believe this would really help me with the ultimate gift as you would all agree. Again, if anyone could help me, I would be forever in your debt!

Thanks

If you saw them at a show afterwards during a fan thing they - or Jared - might do this for you but honestly this is kind of a bad idea and I don't think anyone is going to be that helpful to you. Not too mention they are pretty busy right now and it is not like your impending marriage is exactly a charitable cause or something that is globally importan to anyone other then you and yours. So um you are kind of asking a bit too much here.

How awesome would it be if they were your wedding band? And they did "the Kill"?
What a way to celebrate your marriage!

Yeah, finally the chorus "Marry me, marry me" would make sense.

best case scenario is that Jared does read this and shows up at your wedding and bangs your soon to be wife and she jilts you for him then she realizes that he doesn't even want to know her name so she comes crawling back to you only to have you tell her to hit the bricks.

Wow, some people can be the biggest cocks on this board at others expense.

Calm yourself guys. At least he is not trying to fuck the band or Jared in particular like every other fangirl that joins this board for that singular reason.

Seems to me he doesn't know much, or anything really about the band and is just trying to do something sweet for his fiancee on their wedding day. We should all be so lucky to have someone care about us that much.

Oh and SecretT, they are right, as rude as they are. Your chances are slim to none that this will happen. Your only option is going to a show, waiting with the rest of the "fans" after for the band with a video camera in place, and hoping for a quick second to have the guys say hi to her or congrats on the video. Better yet, I would just take her to a show for her gift. That's my best advice hon.
Good Luck. smile.gif

I actually agree with what was posted above ^...

I think we need to calm the fuck down, I know there're many stupid requests, but these stupid requests are usually asked by those ones...
As Jstreetstar said, he probably doesn't know how this works, so he's just wondering and wandering here, you know, it'd be a nice gift and he's cared enough to come and give it a try. It's not so difficult to spend one minute to actually inform instead of being rudely sarcastic.

Thanks. It's good to see there are still people on here with some sense.

that right there, i actually find more rude as it is so fucking patronizing and high and mighty. you have just called an obviously grown man 'hon' like he is a child.
ive only ever noticed two posts of yours using this name, and both times youve been preaching. how about you calm down eh, instead of trying to be everyones mother.
whats rude to you may be funny to me and vice versa. pick up your lip before you fall over it.

also, your other account works better. this ones kinda gutless. smile.gif

It was just a simple question really. I know of some bands, artist, actors etc. who via their management will do this kind of thing, not saying I want a hand out or anything. It was just a simple enquiry. Thanks to those who have taken the time to answer me, either rudely or not, I believe I now have my answer.

I would not even begin to guess what the band will or will not do. Your request is a very sweet gesture to your future wife. The band has minds of their own and may decide to do something just for the hell of it, however unlikely. I hope all goes well for you and your future wife, Congratulations!

Thanks for your kind words. When I thought of the idea I knew there was like 1 in a million (if not more) chance of getting it. If it was the happen I would be elated. But I am a realist and I understand it more than likely wont. You cant blame a guy for trying though
