As this is due to be repeated on BBC1 this Thursday (13.8.09), and it is being shown on BBC US, I thought it was time for its own thread.

For those who don't know what it is, it's a six part drama with some very funny comedic moments, about a werewolf, a ghost, and a vampire who house share and try to live 'normal' lives with varying degrees of success.

George the werewolf is unbelievably funny and has me crying at times, Mitchell the vampire is seriously hot but he's also quite dorky, and Annie the ghost is a bit needy but there are reasons for this.

Here's the link for the official home page - check it out if you haven't already, it really is good.

I second this... really is worth watching. This and Dexter are about the only tv progs I've really enjoyed this year.

Thanks for this! I had no idea they were repeating it and will definitely be watching again. As much as Mitchell is a hottie it was George that ran off with my heart. biggrin.gif

They're continuing the series, according to Wikipedia. smile.gif

for a second I thought this thread was because of the second season and I got really excited.... Bummer... But still, it's always a good thing re-watching this show.

Thirded! He is such a sweet dorky idiot you can't help but adore him laugh.gif

Sorry Ana rolleyes.gif I believe they are starting to film the second series this week, and it will be shown (hopefully) in January.

Yup, filming is going on now! The BBC homepage for the show has some great updates from the writer. This is one of the only programmes where I've watched every single episode (well, since my Robin of Sherwood phase in the 80's!).

And I actually have a picture of Mitchell as my desktop. *Hangs head in fangirl shame*

So I watched the first episode again and enjoyed it even more than the first time around, although I suspect Annie could end up annoying me even more dry.gif

I had totally forgotten about the girl Mitchell went for a drink with, that Lauren killed, and I had also forgotten just how creepy Seth is *shudders* unsure.gif

And George... what can I say about George? He is just wonderful biggrin.gif

"Do you have a hole?"

Yeah! Thanks for starting this thread! We're on Episode 4 in the states and the show seems to be getting darker. I really like it. I said earlier, I thought Duncan MacLeod of the Clan MacLeod would be the only immortal that I would watch...but I'm definitely hooked on Mitchell! Annie is a sweetheart and I was stunned in the 3rd episode. It's really getting good. It's available ondemand here....it also says director's cut...don't know if that's different from what is shown elsewhere.....it usually is.

*ears prick at "Director's Cut"*

I've not heard anything about that. I'd be interested to know to what extent it was different as well.

Hmm, same here. The only thing I can think is that they've had to jig each episode about a little as it's a full hour show in the UK, with no breaks, and would need to be cut to make room for ads in other countries.

FYI, they have started filming this past week, and it should be aired in the UK in January (fingers crossed)
