I have a few friends who travel all the time because of business mostly, and they are so limited now to what they bring because of the many new restrictions with not only security, but added fees because of a lagging travel industry.
All this got me really thinking of when you guys travel extensively on Tour.
So here are my questions:

1. Reading through some of the National and International tour destinations and how the fans have met and greeted you along the way, all in all I can't even imagine the huge amount of gifts of many shapes and sizes you've all recieved from fans across the globe.
Are there any gifts you've recieved that stand out as being the most practical that you've actually been able to enjoy or use on the road & during your travels while on Tour?

2. It seems that every other week or so there are always some new added travel restrictions;
Added fees, new taxes that pop up out of no where, and added restrictions that don't allow the public any longer to carry certain items. And not to mention that baggage is so limited without extra fees.
When traveling here in the US and overseas, are there any requests from you guys, the Band, to your many fans about oversized gifts or too many that you're unable to actually carry through baggage check in or carry on?
I mean, there have to be limits on what you're allowed to carry on or check in.
I would think that it would cause problems when given so many gifts especially at one given Venue when you have so many more to visit on Tour.
How are you able to bring all that stuff home without it getting damaged or lost?

3. When Touring outside the US, would it be possible for there to be some kind of home base address that fans could send these said gifts to you in one piece and not bombard you during your travels?
I know your most loyal fans want to present them to you in person, but in reality, how can you expect to bring every single gift home without loss or breakage?
Reading through the many threads on your International tour dates I was just wondering how you guys handle all the many gifts.

4. And be honest.
Have you had to leave any gifts behind because you didn't have room to pack more bags, and were just too inundated with too much to travel with and get them home safely?

OK. I'm done. smile.gif

I can honestly say that never in my whole life have I ever even thought about giving a band member a gift huh.gif
Do fans really give them stuff??? Like what? Ornaments? Personally knitted socks? What?

Ha, I like you smile.gif
A friend of mine gave Jared her shirt, but not b/c she made it for him as a present, but b/c he asked her if he could have it. haha. She should have traded it for something else, but I think she was too blink.gif at that moment.

I've seen lots of people give them all kinds of different stuff, from flags over photo albums to bracelets and I don't know what else (sometimes I didn't dare to ask what it exactly was). But I'm sure people will be popping up to tell about stuff they have given to the band.

Christine, interesting question smile.gif

That was exactly my reaction when she told me smile.gif but she was wearing a longsleeve under the shirt. so no, she didn't go naked. and no, she didn't get his shirt in return. Which is not really nice from him, and which is something I would have insisted on, if I had been in her place wink.gif

actually I've been wondering what he wanted to do with her shirt, because despite him being really skinny - her shirt was max a medium size (female)... but again, this might end up on the list of things I do not really want to know huh.gif

I have a reverse question:

Have your fans ever asked you to present anything from you to them

What was it?

I know some crazy fans do that laugh.gif

I didn't mean our fanbase wink.gif
There was an interview with Chester from Linkin Park and when we was asked with the same question his answer was "My pubic hair"......

I wish I didn't say this.

I have another question on this theme:

Do you guys play the balalaika you received from the Russian fans last June?

What about to use it on your new album??? *I\'m kidding* laugh.gif
