Studies and research based on mathematical models indicate that even if there was stabilization of the emission and concentration of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases in the atmosphere at present, the destructive effects would be irreversible in the coming decades. So now nothing can prevent the destruction caused by man, but there is still hope for the delay and minimize ... small gestures can make all the difference, just imagine that all of us, imagine 50, recycle and plant one tree per year in a place ravaged by fire, will be thousands of kilograms of garbage reused and 50 trees that produce oxygen and indirectly serve as habitat and food for various forms of life. 50 trees is a small number, it is true, the planet is enormous, but if in the same way that we, each 5000 people in a country did this simple action?... however small the difference was visible.
I found this small text on the internet by chance, but it makes sense...is not easy, nobody said it was...but is our future, even the most selfish person in the world would help the environment at least by itself when there is no more way to back, but, there will be late.
I speak also for myself...:D

I think that many people are under the allusion that we always have more time. In anything we do we think this, until one day we realize, no we don't have any more time. People need to wake up and start living their lives so we have a longer and safer and nicer life ahead of us. This is exactly what the band is saying, that we are litterally 30 seconds to mars, because soon, we will need mars to survive, litereally.
Check out the song Time by Pink Floyd too, it talks about that.

But I really hope that is not true...I still want that this world be green, but in the end
it's our responsibility, make it green, but there is a lot of people u just don't care

So if it's too late then shouldn't we all just party and have a good time? Enjoy ourselves by sinning and what not?

I agree, people like to think that we can do nothing to help minimise the effects on our planet coupled with the thought that it is too late. This gives people the excuse that they are looking for to do nothing. It is true that every little bit helps. So for each person to do something, one little thing that may seem minuscule, can go a long way to help delay any more damage being done.
