Ok so there has been talk that as the band amasses more fans it will be difficult to do meet and greets; I agree and understand-I certainly dont expect the guys to work hard on a great show and then stand around for hours talking to people, but as someone who hasnt yet had an opportunity to meet them and thank them in person for the positive change they have had in my life I was wondering if in future they would consider doing something for newer fans and those who havent meet them as other wise their only ever meeting the same people anyway-I hope no one takes this wrong, I'm really not being rude to anybody but to me there does seem to be some people, some fan girls say who go by a different name *cough cough* who kinda stalk them and know all the secret/best places to hang around to see them and who end up monopolising things...

Next thing; would you like to do more things to help foster new talent? like artist doing album art, performing a song writers song, stuff like that, with competitions for it I guess-speaking from a personal POV I think some people need to gain confidence in their albilities and it being considered good by you guys would be a way to do that...

OKAY, RE-EDIT! :I apologise I could have worded that better, not to mention more politely-dont have to stoop as low as some lol, after all two wrongs dont make a right, theres just something about this forum/band that can bring out the worse in me(the passion i guess)-it makes me get sarcastic and defensive and what not-kinda like turning into brent spiner smile.gif
I know it doesnt really matter what i say, this edit will still get rude comments but what the hey, you cant win here-so ok, ideas on how it can be done: well you could sign up and get forms like with the summits, there could be a comp to make it really fair-explain how they changed your life and why you want to meet them, things along that line i guess.
No I dont think its fair for people to be in their space all the time like following them to hotels but i do think there are some obligations that famous people do have actually for those that say they dont have to do anything...well i think thats all i have to say on that subject smile.gif

Yes, I would also like something more personal, lyke rly personal. I hate those girls who know all the hangouts and don't tell ME about them, lyke why be so protective and not share with the other Ekeloins????// We are all a family, after all. Though pm me the info, since I don't want other ekelions to know, plz.

& Yes, I make mean straight lines with MS. Paint. I am certain it is good, and it would help my confidince a great deal if I could do all the straight lines for the album cover.

Jesus fucking christ, what the fuck?

Ah. Understood, thanks Elvira. And I thought it was about liking the music, having a good time with friends, getting to know new ones, and enjoying the little extras one might get from time to time, without taking them for granted or even having the idea that we have the right to claim for those extras...

This somehow reminds me of concerts where people start writing numbers on their hands, to make sure they are the first to get into the venue as they have been camping in front of it for days (which is kind of gross if I may mention it here because people - you need to shower from time to time).

I guess that's what they meant by "welcome to the universe"...

don´t remind me *hides*

I kind of get what you were trying to say here Megan... I´m sure you´ll get
your chance to meet them one day. Maybe next year when they might come
back to Europe and play some gigs. And I´m pretty sure there are no special
places where you can meet them or hang out with them.

They already "organize" signatures and go out after almost all their concerts, what do you want more ? huh.gif
If you want to meet and thank them to run away just after the gig and stay around the venue... I don't catch the interest of this request. And... read this :

some people seem to forget that the band does not need, nor do they owe us, pictures, autographs, a hello, anything. i've seen tons of bands who thank he fans while they are on stage and all that jazz, and then get rushed away with their entourage of people/bodyguards, etc after the show. granted there are still a bunch of bands that DO socialize with fans and what not, but nobody has to. in general, a concert is for the music, show, and experience. any extra perks are just that, extra perks. im not saying you arent aware of this, but a lot of times people state things similar to your post and its just a bit aggravating because yes, there is chaos here and at shows and whatever, but people should not forgot or downplay that meet & greets, yearbooks, posters of fans, and all that shit, are not mandatory by any band. but be happy with what you get cause not every band does some of the stuff this one does

exactly (I wanted to shorten parts of your post but it's all so correct, that's why I'm re-posting it all)

Dear Razorbladekiss: I have to admit that I might have been a little mean in this thread, and I'd like to apologize. I can understand everyone who wants to meet the band, I really do. It just seems strange to me to open a thread about this, and to try to organize sth like this. But hang in there, I hope for all of us (the new and the old fans) that there are still some opportunities coming smile.gif
