hey ya, i really didn't know where to share this cause it's not a question, it's more like a statement...

i have befallen victim of a curious fact. my luck ran out.
explanation. up into a point somewhere 2 years ago i had been living life normally like any person. that's when 30 seconds to mars came touring their way into the country where i live.
when i was in line for their first show ever here, i got a call from the company where i worked for my first job. yeah, in line, waiting for the show, and i get a call for a job interview. nothing out of the ordinary, i thought. just a coincidence.
life kept it's normal course. except... i was also promoted on the day that 30 seconds to mars came to my country again, 3 months later.
allright, so, two shows, two good things. and since then? zero. because the company in mention went broke later on that year. i am unemployed and have been since. i have had no luck in getting a new job so i started to think... it's all 30 seconds to mars fault!!! 30 seconds to mars need to release their new album soon and go on tour again or i'll be unemployed forever!!!!

...
i'm sorry for annoying you but i'm kinda bored.

That was harsh.....
but I lol'd D:

Nahh, don't blame 30STM. You are unemployed because you think your luck falls on them.
Don't take that road.
I don't believe in coincidences, I only believe we are what we think we are.

Carpe Vitam! The person you must count on is you - preparation meeting opportunity. Set your goals, work hard, and surround yourself with people who support your effort, not your excuses.

wise words, everyone! i shall not disagree with the eldest. wink.gif biggrin.gif
you are right, i shouldn't be wallowing in self pity and should actually "get to work", i've thought about it really. but i bet there are a lot of folks out there who just wish everything was simple again. life these days is getting too troublesome. so troublesome it's getting really boring.

No, It has nothing to do with 30STM. It's a Higher Power's challenge giving you signs that you deserve better and can do better.
Keep your chin up and go out there and show the world you're much better than you give yourself credit for.
Pick yourself up, brush yourself off, and start all over again. You will succeed.
Think positive and you'll get positive results. Give it time. You'll be OK. wink.gif

blink.gif uh i like your theory christine. the whole higher power actually makes sense, cause funny thing...
before the company went broke, i quit. 3rd november it was. and 20 days later, they announced their permanent closure. i've been feeling kinda guilty since. i think sometimes, it was my fault they had to close.
then again, they were bastards. i don't regret it. tongue.gif
of course, now i could be in line for the money they owe to the employees for closing...
ah dang it!!! i hate duality. laugh.gif laugh.gif

I once saw a guy who was bumming dollars off people at a gas station dressed in old ragged clothes.
He had a fucking suitcase full of twentys from buying lotery tickets with the money he had bummed.
The man is a fuckin genius and my new hero!
I shall now honor the way of the bum and set outside speedway asking for spare change and playing the lotery, in a few years I'll be rich like that guy. .........Or I could just do that on Saturdays for spare money tongue.gif

did you know in some european countries the average bum makes more money than the average employee?
take those who roam the trains for example. regular people out of the kindness of their heart, spare from 0,20€ to 2€. if a train has 8 carriages, and on rush hour, about 20 people in a carriage give out 2€... 20 times 2 equals 40, 40 times 8 carriages equals 320€ per train alone. do that everyday for a week (week days only) and you get 1600€... a normal pay in a normal country.
... blink.gif
the way of the bum is really much more efficient, i'll say. laugh.gif
