Thanks bro, I'm getting back into all of this and pushing myself really hard. This new mic is the shit, I'm learning more and more about how to use it effectively every time I record.

haha, i was hoping you'd see this thread- ill make sure to hug her extra tight. I'm glad you dig as the sun begins to set...i really haven't the slightest idea why i decided to take my mic out for a test run on that song, considering it doesn't really sound like my other stuff at all- but i'm liking how it's coming together. I'm going to finish As the Sun Begins to Set, then lay down some vocals for a song called "Roam", possibly re-do the vocals in my defunct vocal audition for Strata (Inamorata) just for shits and giggles, then ultimately get 747 with the program...which will require me to take my guitars into the shop for truss rod adjustments which costs money that I don't want to spend right now. None of that is necessarily in chronological order, just kind of a random assortment of things that make up my supreme battle plan to take over the universe. Or maybe just your headphones.

haha. this is very true sir. Very true. That short clip was great though. My sister loves December just as much as I do. Not sure this is the affect you wanted ha, but I typically go listen to December when I want to punch walls and have nothing to write. I got into a fight with my now ex boyfriend, the same fight three days in a row pretty much and there goes December on. Not that I always listen to it when I am unhappy ha. That's not the case. I listen to it in the best of moods too. You're so very welcome like I said many times.

Remind me to bundle up my copy of FL Studio for you. There's a bit of a learning curve, but it'll make your songs sound so much better as far as percussion goes.

My thoughts exactly- yeah definitely wasn't a preference, and for the longest time I had no idea why my vocals always sounded so...tinny, like the lower-frequencies of my voice never actually were recorded at all. Did a little research and found out I was using the wrong kind of microphone to record my vocals the entire time haha-

i love December, even though it doesn't have lyrics or anything, its still an amazing song. just hearing the opening few chords... its such a pure, bright sound, it always makes me happy *gushes*
i did actually learn how to play it on my guitar, several months ago, but i couldn't send you a recording like you suggested cos, firstly i dont have a mic or recorer or anything, and secondly, well.... im not all that good at guitar. but i still love playing december, its one of the few songs i still remember after being taught it.

oh, and i think its kinda cool that you have a store for your merch. it seemed rather impersonal, but i guess you'll have a chance to make the merch more your own in the future. i wish i had more money atm, if i wasn't saving for summer i would so buy a 7 corners t shirt.
