To save any disagreements in the Strange and beautiful things in photography thread, I thought it best if I created a new one for people to post their scenic pictures. It can be of anything at all, so post away! biggrin.gif

Cardingmill Valley, Shropshire

The view from Clee Hill, Shropshire (it's my favourite county!)

The woods opposite where I live after the recent heavy frosts

Wast Water in the Lake District

Hahaha Thanks Jen!!
Love the view from Clee Hill. Lake district looks amazing for overview shots biggrin.gif I need to go on vacation more to get to capture this stuff...
I hope I am able to get some nice photo's while in Liverpool from the Albert Docks.

My views aren't this spectacular, but I like where I live. Good photo ops at times.

Like how the overhanging trees became a frame for the photo

Taken with fluorescent setting on my camera..experimenting

Heavy rain in the back

Pathway view

Sepia Entrance..again experimenting with settings

Thank you Jen! And be my guest, just glad you like it wink.gif
* each time I see your avi, it cracks me up *

I don't have a super camera that I took these with, just a Sony Cybershot DSC-W35. I wanna have a better one, with more manual settings to work with, but those are a bit expensive right now.

Like the additions you guys put in here
@Victoria, love the overview of the water one
@Nabucodonosor, that second one is great, where is that?

This one is cool, I like how the pink is scattered through the sky. Where exactly in NZ was it taken?

Jacky - the tree frames the first picture beautifully - was that deliberate or something that just happened? And the sunlight through the trees is what I call my stock in trade picture - I have so many of them! rolleyes.gif

Red Flare (I've forgotten your real name, sorry) - that has to be the weirdest castle I have ever seen! I would love to see in it real life!

Nabucodonosor - I agree with Jacky, that second picture is great!

karina - you're spoiled down in Cornwall as you have so many great views to photograph. We're hoping to come down to that corner of the world this summer biggrin.gif I love the one in Hong Kong.

Lower Fishguard in Wales

One of my aforementioned stock in trade pictures wink.gif

A sunrise from my bedroom window

No, not Switzerland, but the Lake District again

Thanks Jen and it was done that way with intention. I loved how it looked in my viewfinder with the shadows of the branches over the field. I am happy about how it came out.

Love the Welsh view, it has kind of a sad look to it and a perfect place to go for a walk and let your mind wander...
Don't you just love how you can capture sunlight like that biggrin.gif * is that a tear in the sunrise pic on the left?*
I am already soo loving this thread!!

I have this one enlarged and framed, hanging on my wall

Didn't know the moon was in it as well as the sun when I took it..it was kinda of blinding at that moment laugh.gif

Beautiful pictures in here! Once I am back on my own computer I will bombard you with mine.

Meanwhile, Jacky, I want your view from your balcony! From this thread and the other picture thread I have seen some stunning shots from that vantage point. I am so jealous!

No, it is a sun crystal hanging in the window. I never noticed it for ages after I had taken then picture rolleyes.gif Fishguard is where I regard as my Welsh home (I am half Welsh) as it's where I spent all my summers when I was growing up.

I love the one you had framed - I bet it looks gorgeous on the wall.

It's Victoria (look under av wink.gif ). Truth be told, that is not the whole castle. It's only the tower and a fragment of the wall. The castle was almost fully destroyed years ago. But it's still nice in real life smile.gif
And I love your pics, I always found UK's nature very beautiful smile.gif

I don't live near here, but it's a beautiful and only castle that was fully renovated in the whole country smile.gif

Can't wait to see your views!

Hey hun, your welcome to check it out live in the future wink.gif It came to a complete surprise to family and friends I was actually considering buying an apartment on the twelfth floor, knowing about my vertigo..It took 3 quarters of the first year, before I felt comfortable to step on a ladder cleaning my windows and almost a whole year for me to be able to sit in the sun and enjoy the view a bit.
It really was me buying a camera and wanting to capture some of what you have seen so far that made me feel at ease now, but still not looking down from the railing though Yikes!! Glad you liked what I had to show.
* I am just praying they won't stick me on top of a roof to use hammer and nails in Liverpool * laugh.gif

Hahahaha, I hadn't even noticed the wire hanging in the photo.
I love the Welsh country side, it has a wide variety of scenery that makes it beautiful to see.
Lucky you to be living there during summertime! Do you still go back there a lot now?

Thanks, it does look great. And even more special cause you know you took it yourself.

I'm trying to remember, I really must label my pics before I forget completely! I think it was along the road from Hanmer Springs to Kaikoura.... The camera didn't really do it justice, i remember it looking like the whole sky was on fire...

Love the fishguard pic...

We are really spoiled down here, I am feeling inspired now to go out tomorrow and see what I can see (assuming its not mizzly rain like it has been today!) You should come down, you definitely won't be bored!

I love the colours in this one. I want to go to Scotland, I made it to Edinburgh last year but was 'distracted' and didn't get to see many of the sights! tongue.gif

Some more of Cornwall...

St Mawes

Cape Cornwall

Camel Estuary

Mother-in-law's garden!

That is at my city, at Santa Lucía River
it real big
and connects with museums, the arena Monterrey (for concerts), the coca cola auditorium, and we had the International forum of cultures there.
(During that time, MCR came to play there)
