we have some issues in the list:
Galapagos Islands. The place where the evolution theory of Mr. Darwin was born
Cuyabeno Park. In conjuntion with the amazonia jungle of Peru and Brazil. The place where the earth has not change and the rose dolphins live.
Cayambe mountain. Really beautiful with it perfect form of cone
Chimborazo mountain. The highest mountain of the world if you take into account it size from the beginning of it. Truly beautiful too.
We are in the third, seven and nine place. Vote for Ecuador. This is only a little show of our nice nature in my little country.
Warm regards
Mile

It is a shame they didn't put the Naica Caves from Chihuahua. Those are awesome.

that is true.
but i don't think it is non-sense... well, this can be viewed another way. although, this aims to name just "7 wonders" of nature, the process does introduce almost 300 wonderful places (a lot of which, i haven't heard of) to the people around the world. so, regardless of the contest results, these places are worth seeing. i guess, the contest, even if it is not explicitly stated, it can trigger a reason to care. and these places are more than one reason why we need to care. just my thoughts.....
