The new project of Russian Echelon – “Children's orphanage. Present a toy”

How are you doing, Mars Army?)
The New Year's Day and Christmas our most long-awaited and favourite holidays. It's time of gifts, fun, care and happiness...But there are children among us who most of all waiting for a miracle from this holidays! We are talking about children for whom the orphanage replaced their families. Maybe they don't believe in Santa and fairy tales anymore... But we can change it together and present children the real holiday. Even only one toy can become for a child the proof of that the miracle exists and he must believe in it! Only one sincere smile can make the world better for him!

We've begun The Project “Children's orphanage. Present a toy” from this Monday. It will pass about 4 weeks. Now we сonnect as much as possible cities across all Russia and as we want, that our martian brothers and sisters would join it Flash-mob all over the world. So you understand why you read this message now?
Firstable there was only an idea to give any gift to Jared for his Birthday. But then we have decided to give gifts to people surrounding us, not only our friends, parents, but to persons, requiring in attention and care to children who don't have parents and who have no an opportunity to test that sometimes seems to us banal happiness...
Please, come and join us! We believe, that small charity can give children a smile and make them happy... even for a short time.

We congratulate all on coming holidays and wish the best!

From Russian Echelon with love smile.gif

Nice idea... I did something like this before but we had some rules which made it much more simple.
We told the people who want to give something what should be in their gifts therefore every child gets the same
or almost the same and there are no fights... what do you think?

Yes, so we also are going to do. On a days we shall contact management of children's home and to specify, what exactly to us needs to be chosen for a gift and in what terms. Most likely it will be soft toys in area 10-30 $. We shall note here what toys will be precisely used for gifts. Nevertheless, in any other city or the country gifts can be different. The main thing to have time to make it within four weeks.

Aww we used to do something similar. We used to fill a shoebox with little things (like paper, crayons, small teddy bears and things) and the charity would take it to an orphanage (can't remember if it was Russia or not though (: )

2 Mars.echelon: thank you for support=) We hope too..

Anyway, we want as many people as possible to know about the project and join us. Please promote it =)

Every year Australian motorbike gangs participate in a "Toy Run". Its an annual bikie event where motorcycle gangs and riders converge en masse in each city centre, all donating at least one toy to the Salvation Army for underprivileged kids.

Hi Saint Alex,
could you please send us closer information, how can one take part outside from Russia in the action? An address, for example, where one is able to send the toys? This would be very helpful. The people of the German forum have already asked. Thank you! Excellently action!

enjoy_berlin, hi to you too wink.gif
I've responded at a German forum recently. The project should be not in one city, but in each city where people want to participate. We go to a Children's orphanage tomorrow. We'll get acquainted with the director and we'll carry on negotiations. We'll inform you news on monday or tuesday.

elena_hel, thank you for support =)

Its being held tomorrow, I will see what media I can get for you smile.gif it would be a wonderful world-wide event if other countries took it on smile.gif

It's literally thousands of motorbike riders, all converging in their respective city centres where there is usually a huge party, bbq's, bands playing, etc. All for the Salvation Army. Arrangements are made with the city, with police, etc, for special permissions, all motorists are warned that there will be a motorbike convoy on a specific time, on a specific route, etc.

it gets on the news, in the newspapers, everywhere.

Hello Saint Alex,
I'm posting again parallel in two forums, hehe.
Marinka was so dear and has translated your text. Many thanks for your news! Nevertheless, I believe - I hope - the orphanages here in Germany are well secured financially. Particularly as many are financed privately (in Berlin, as far as I knows all of them). I think, a direct support of your action in Russia would be more sensible. Maybe you could give us the address where you collect the toys, or the account number? The time becomes slowly scarce!! If we plan from here a foreign support, we must start definitively earlier. Besides, there are quite great actions where we can connect (next year).
Hopefully it will still work out! ohmy.gif

Thanks for the reporting, Adeena. I am admired by Australians. You know, if I'll have an opportunity to be a piece of such act, I shall make it with the great pleasure! =)

So, several days ago we went to the children's home for children with backlog in development in the age of from 3 till 7 years. There live 52 pupils - 28 boys and 24 girls. After a talk with director and the psychologist, we have made the list of what children require. The most part of the list are necessary things for physical and mental development of children. It is that help which we plan to render from the beginning of the next new year in our new projects and actions. And as was above written by enjoy_berlin, we wish to involve in such kind of charity as much people as possible. And now we shall simply present New Year's gifts in the form of toys and sweets. At present we need to type the necessary quantity of people and money resources for realization of the project.

Some other cities of Russia are already with us, people from all country participate St-Petersburg, and not only. As the Minsk Echelon has joined us (Belorussia). And as Germany has joined us!

Ок, we all Russian family wish to tell many thanks to Germany for such kind gesture! Here is our electronic purse for remittance in payment system WebMoney R394724491941. Please, while translating write your name. It is necessary for the report.
enjoy_berlin, please write this information at a German forum smile.gif

Attest news will be know at the next week. We want to tell you about the biggest thank all the people who join to us and all who supported us. We are the power together, and only together we can make greater! From Russia with love!
Keep an eyes all the news wink.gif
