Hello There
How's everyone doing?

I know this is getting pretty old, & I'll probably get lots of negative comments, on opening this thread but the anguish and pain isn't over yet , I tried searching for topics that are related, but failed to find any, however if you know or have seen a topic that has already been made, please let me know, and am sorry in advance.

Seals are being torchured and slaughtered in many countries, problem is , if murdering them was for a good cause, which is gravely challenging to consider or believe, I wouldn't have thought this is heartbreaking as much as it is right now.

But to murder innocent lives, innocent souls, for it meant to be as a sport? is brutal & ineffably revolting, and repulsive.

However, some are murdered for their fur & fat oil, but still do you consider this quite a reason for murder?

I hope you consider watching the following vids though **WARNING** Contains Graphic Images Of Violence

Edit (added)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dCYTHFzs-oE

There are many more vids that I've found but I thought it was too violent to put up... I couldn't bare watching it fully.

There isn't much in our hands to do, but least we can do is sign up to help those poor seals please click on the link below and sign up!

http://www.hsus.org/marine_mammals/protect...ch_sign_up.html
I also wanted to mention, that there are countries mentioned in the vids, saying that they inspire, create, and practice such sports, I want to clearly state that I mean no offence to any of these countries.

Thanks for your time

I couldn't even bare to watch through the first vid. Dude, this stuff is the kind of stuff that really pisses me off, cause it's so fucking meaningless. It shouldn't be like this.

What can we do to help?

Yeah neither can I, I mean it doesn't need a genius to figure this out that there isn't a great benifit from killing them, it doesnt affect the country's econimic state, and today that's almost what matters in all countries.

Yeah It really is horrible =/

Please make sure you sign up!

Thanks for your time...

Good link.

The videos are disturbing. There are a few threads that touched on endangered species but they all got buried or became off-topic. It's a good idea to have one thread to post links/vids concerning the protection of marine life (or endangered species in general.) smile.gif

How can people do this?
What's the point? the reward? Do they feel any better by killing some innocent criatures?

This is horrible!!!...

I ask this, do you feel the same way about hunting deer? Elk? Wild turkey? Etc? How about tuna fishing? It's all the same thing. Or do you just care about seals because they're cute? Sport is sport, whether it be football or hunting. If the seal numbers were higher, I'd totally go on a seal hunt. I'd give the fat and meat to natives and have that fucker stuffed and put on my wall.

Good lord people, English is your friend.

I could go back and proofread each one of these posts for grammatical and spelling errors, but that might make my brain explode, so I won't.

(Except for Ghetto's; he seems to have a pretty firm grasp on the English language.)

If it's me you're mentioning.. I think my english is fine.. and i'm not saying it's me you're pointing out.. but if it's just me.. besides English is my second language.. i know that's no excuse but yeah..

I'm sorry, but having English as your second language does not excuse you and give you the right to abuse it. If you feel confident enough to post in English, try to make some effort. There are plenty of people here whose first language is not English, but their posts are not illegible and full of errors.

Alright then , I should apologize for that , I clearly couldn't see my english errors.

Thanks.

Do you think seal are the only mammals being to tortured? what about tigers or whales or humans did you know we are mammals too. I have no idea where you live but does that matter to the seal being killed what action do you take to help the beside talking on net about it. my friend stop talking and start doing it doesnt matter where you start from maybe a helpless kitten on street or the home less person you pass every day without noticing. Its time for action not talk any more.
