I suggest you take some time to read around these forums a bit before making new threads. Welcome.

And now, I'm off to eat Special K Red Berries. Hell yes.

Welcome Lola. Thank you for your post in this forum. I agree with you that the problems of this world will have to be solved using the insight of the younger generations. Because you have not been enslaved in the system for as long as adults have, you are able to see the failings of our civilization with a fresh perspective. You have not yet been normalized to the madness that is society. The issues we are facing have no quick fix and it will be the youth of today that will have to carry the torch of sustainable progress into the future.

You youngsters CAN make a difference - there is no MAYBE. Live the truth you see and the changes the world needs are already here. It is up to each of us to be the change smile.gif

Welcome.

Please have empathy for those whose mother tongue is not English. This is an international forum and those of us who speak English are simply fortunate it is the default language of the world - at this time.

I can't imagine going onto a forum in Brunei and writing a perfect sentence in Malay. Only expect of others what you are capable of delivering yourself.

Welcome again Lola and thank you for your positive post. The future is in our hands smile.gif

I agree.
I think we should also try to convince the older generations to consider better ways of using things and getting rid of them safely.
The future is young people, but it is also now, and that belongs to all of us, young, old and those of us in between.
There is a search option in this forum to find topics that are more specific. Maybe they will give you new ideas.

I'm gonna litter twice as much as I already do just to spite the OP. I didn't even read the post, I just read the title, and it made me want to litter. But I litter enough as it is. Everything I purchase that can be thrown in the garbage or recycled is certainly not going to be thrown in the garbage or recycled. I'm just gonna buy a bunch of Pepsi, pour out all the soda (or POP just to appease Lily) and chuck the cans at people on skateboards and/or bikes and/or rollerblades. Maybe I'll video tape these shenanigans and make a web-series out of it and become an Internet celebrity like one of my friends said I'd probably become. When I become famous, it will all be because of Lola Inez. I will be indebted to her. To repay her for all she's done for me, I solemnly swear to never litter again.

I'm being mocked, aren't I?

Now I'm gonna litter four times as much as I already do just to spite you. I believe I am being mocked and it makes me want to litter. But I litter enough as it is. Everything I purchase that can be thrown in the garbage or recycled is certainly not going to be thrown in the garbage or recycled. There's a Native American saying that goes: "We do not inherit the earth from our ancestors; we borrow it from our children."
We have to take action now. If we do nothing, our children will be living in the disasterous world we created (and left) for them...
