About Teletón...

The Teleton, formaly called el Instituto Pro-Ayuda al Niño Lisiado (Help for Handicapped Child) , is a network of pediatric hospitals all over Chile that treat about 60% of the children who would normally not have any care. It's almost completely funded by a 27 hour Teleton hosted by Don Francisco, one of the most famous TV characters in Chile. During the Teleton almost all of the big TV, movie and political names show up and they collect more than US$1 for every Chilean, it's truly amazing...

I have to say this going to be our 30th Teleton, and this idea was taken by Don Francisco from Jerry Lewis original Teleton...

That was our participation last year, now we're going to collect money in an official way   ...we'll have t-shirts, and some other stuff

I just want to congratulate all the Echelons in Santigo because of the things you have done for Teletón =)... I didn't know you supported it last year xD, and now you have t-shirts and 'stuffs' that's amazing!!!. We (as IX region) are working too in order to colaborate and be part of this wonderful Chilean mission and you know you have our support and if you need something just contanct us (or me if it's easier).... i have received some e-mails from you and some other girls from Santiago I really would like to go to Santiago to be part of all the things your doing =( .... I will be there some day...

And, I don't know if you know xD but last Wednesday we were part of 'a kind of documentary' about fan clubs and 'communities' (I'm not sure about that word xD) and if we're lucky we can appear on TV (Tal vez canal 13 en unos 30 sec de noticia xD) ... but if we don't at least we're going to have a copy of 'documentary' and of course we're going to share it with you ... it's part of a project of one of our new members in our region, so Ignacio thanks a lot!!!

Alas, thanks for the news abpot HFH!!! I read it a little bit late, but it's never too late! (bad joke   )...
