I think I voted the higher of what I would want for the hoodies- it's my 'max acceptable.'
And your wording is still leading, but at least it isn't in the actual poll. That actually does matter to the results of the poll...weird studies with that kind of stuff. Interesting, though.

Yeah, even great quality stuff is worth spending the extra money for sometimes.

T-shirts up to $20
and hoodies up to $35
this why I own nothing official. Yo soy muy cheap. If it were high quality I would spend, but from everyone says about the current merch, no thanks.

Hahaha I didn't even notice.
You can have those be 'write-in' polls.
Or just start a new one.

15-35 for tshirts (some of the tshirts have been nice in the last year or so, I really like my red phoenix t)
25-50 for sweatshirts
I am kinda going by what I would spend as well as what I have seen other bands stuff go for at shows.
Lily I think the price should be the same at a concert - the only "mark up" you should be outside of a concert is shipping (which I know is a problem outside the states)
oh and I <3 my shorts, those are comfy as hell can't recall how much I spent though

*nods* Agreed.
I think the reason I'm more willing to maybe spend the higher prices for a really nice t-shirt (ie the phoenix one) at a concert and not from a store is because of all the insane charges.

It would probably be a huge pain, but having thier own e-commerce site they or they're rep manages and amintains might be better than the current company.

Wristbands should stay at this price because I don't think those are for everybody. This probably sounds arrogant but yeah. I guess you get what I mean. Shirts aren't worth more than $10 dollar in my opinion, but seen the prices of other band's shirts I'd say $16 - $20. Hooded sweatshirts should be between 30 and 40, like any other band hoodie. I seriously don't get why their merch is so expensive.

I bought a bunch of stuff from them for other people..maybe totalling about $100? It came in a tiny little box, which was good. But the shipping was insane, plus I had to pay customs/duty/brokerage/etc/etc. I think the cross-border nonsense was $25 alone.
I mean, it's not THEIR fault we have to pay it, but it doesn't make me want to buy anything from the store.
And how does it cost $8 to ship a $10, flat patch to Canada?
I even understand some markup for warehousing and (ha) customer service and website maintenance and stuff, but it just seems like too much to me.

That's what drives me nuts. At least if you're going to up the price, up the quality.
Oh, value equation. HA.
I get what you mean about the wristbands. But maybe they just shouldn't sell them at all anymore, then....because upping the prices just makes the crazies shell out money, and the semi-normal people not want to buy them.

Really? $30 for a shirt?
God, I must be cheap, then. Haha I've never shopped in those stores.

Oh yes. That too. Shipping and customs.. A few months ago we ordered with quite some people from Belgium and the Netherlands. I believe customs were between 300 and 600 euros (don't know exactly, Nikki knows..). That was freaking ridiculous! Ok, it was quite a large order.. but THAT much customs.. wow.
EDIT: Oh, 662 euros even
