I searched and didn't find a topic for this, so I decided to make one. Anyone else loving this show?

i do...SVU and the original series are my faves. the cast for SVU is awesome...haven't been keeping up with the new episodes though.

I don't like the original one or CI...I think the cast is what makes SVU such a great show. There's a new episode on NBC today at 10. Chris Meloni is an AMAZING actor.

heck yes....I wanna get all of the seasons on dvd. Munch and Fin make a good team though...the personalities together make it interesting.

Oh I didn't know that the seasons were out on DVD. I tried to eBay it a few days ago and got nothing sad.gif

I want them all tooooo

And I'm trying to win the whole Oz series, which had Chris Meloni in it too.

This show, without a doubt, has THE BEST writers out of all the L&O series. I like the others, though, just this one the best.

Agreed. I watch the others every once in a while if there's nothing else to watch, but my best friend got me completely hooked on SVU. I just recently started watching it religiously...and I must say that I absolutely love USA and TNT for playing it like 24/7...helps me catch up on everything I've missed.

And last week's episode (the new one on NBC) had Dylan Walsh on it, who's in Nip/Tuck. I love the celebrity guest stars on the show too...makes it all the more interesting...and everyone always gives such good performances.

i can't watch any Law&Order without giggling since i saw the SNL bit with jake gyllenhaal but SVU is definitely the best, i like criminal intent too, i adore vincent d'onofrio wub.gif

but i have to say [out of professional hazard, shame] that compared to other shows it's a bit too classic for my taste, too predictable, it uses all the techniques perfectly but without any particular twist or innovation, they should start doing that to make it even better, imho.

I have always preferred Criminal Intent to SVU. Love Chris Meloni in Oz though.

I love ALL the Law and Order shows - but especially SVU. Last week when Stabler was getting ready to hop in bed with his wife - OMG. I had to cover my eyes because I got all embarassed! My 14 y.o. was like "come on mom, are you serious??!"

Yessss...I plan on getting all the seasons on DVD...and definitely NOT watching it when my parents are home laugh.gif

I have to admit though, Chris is damn good looking for a 46 year old.

He's OLDER than my father laugh.gif but yea, absolutely AMAZING actor.
