you know sometimes a natural disaster happens
such as hurricane katrina
or the tsunami that hit southern asia in 2004
and it is often considered that it should "never have happened"
but maybe it should
maybe this is how its always been
and how it should continue to be
how do you feel about the massive loss of life in natural disasters?

I think natural disasters are very, very good things. They also give me a few more years to delay my whole "massive killing spree" thing that I plan on doing before I die.

I have to say, I think it's horrible for the survivors who've lost family but, seriously, why do so many people seem to think the human race should be immune to that kind of thing? It happens, it's natural culling of the herd. Mother Nature getting her fight face on. I'm all for it.
[and I live in a country that is practically begging to get flooded so being in the line of fire, I feel I can say this. plus, should the sea decide to rise Holland will pretty much disappear]

I hope a hurricane hits Tyrone's house.
Also, I like hurricanes. And tornadoes, tsunamis, and all other controlling factors we have. I once wrote a report on how AIDS is a great controlling factor with article sources and everything and my teacher was shocked. She wrote on it for me to rewrite the article and said this is NOT what we discussed in class when we did in fact discuss controlling factors and AIDS. On the same tape, even. Biology 3 was fun. I had a chick. I named him Milton.

We are a type 0 civilization. Bummer. Natural disasters are a part of the planet and always have and will be. We are in no way able to control them, and I doubt we ever will. Let's go storm chasing.
