I remember one time in high school, after handing in a paper on abortion, my language arts teacher told me that I have a "tragically dark outlook on life and abnormally sick sense of humor" because I had written something along the lines of how we've aborted more criminals and idiots than we have doctors that could cure cancer and AIDS. So begins the story of the first time I was suspended for swearing at a teacher.
