That man's invention quite possibly saved my life, though.
I remember one time out in the wilderness, getting chased by a fucking mountain lion. I ran and I ran so fast and then I remembered I always keep two packs of beef flavored ramen noodles on me, one in each back pocket. So I made a deal with the mountain lion by giving him one pack, saving the other for me, and then I went back to town to buy one of those large packs for his family and some pots and pans. We cooked it in his cave and he apologized for chasing me and we've been friends ever since. Good thing he didn't find out that I killed his sister though. I told him it was some poacher.

Mine too!
As a one time, poor, starving college student, instant noodles have saved my life on multiple occasions.
A great man has passed

Hey I still have days when all I eat is them. What can beat $0.35 for a meal?

This guy is a legend in my book.
His food is still saving my life this very moment. I shall now enjoy this beef flavored nissin-brand cup o' noodles in remembrance of him.
Kanpai.

I've spent months living entirely on Ramen.
I can't eat it anymore, though. I had to give away thirty packages of Ramen (I bought two hundred some at the beginning of the year) yesterday. But the market here sells them for like thirty-nine cents and they just taste some damn good.
