I sort of ran the gammit in terms of 80's metal/hair metal/rock. Here are some of the groups I listened to, Feenixx's list inclusive:
Judas Priest
Iron Maiden
Motorhead
Testament
Metallica (pre-Black Album)
Suicidal Tendencies
Loudness
Lita Ford
W.A.S.P.
Danzig
Dangerous Toys (I liked their Texas bluesy style)
Lillian Axe (very good friends)
Pantera
Queensryche
Great White
Vain
Every Mother's Nightmare
L.A. Guns
Guns 'N' Roses (until Use Your Illusion I and II)
Tesla
Poison
Hanoi Rocks
Vixen
Femme Fetale
Doro Persch
Faster Pussycat
There are tons more, but I'm drawing such a blank on any more bands...I'll probably add more later.

I need to look at my "other" cd tower I have in my front room. I'm pretty sure I have well over half of those bands you mentioned.

I'll add in The Beastie Boys, Run D.M.C. and Salt 'N' Pepa just for fun
