WOW...i do love Frank Miller. That movie looks awesome. Too bad Robert Rodriguez didnt direct it though....i love that man too. I may have to go see that one when it comes out.

It looks really good, but yes, if you want to learn about the Spartans, crack a book...this is fiction...but a ripping good tale nonetheless.

SPARTANS! TONIGHT WE DINE IN HELL!

I just had to.

Eh, don't expect to get educated about Sparta, Lacaedemonians and Leonidas from THAT film though. It
definitely looks promising and I can't wait for it either, but it's based ONLY on Frank Miller's graphic novel and there are a lot of nonexistent stories in that novel. So, I'd say just enjoy it and if you really want to learn about Spartans open a good AND accurate history book.

Oh, I know. I don't expect to learn anything from this movie.

I was saying that I loved to learn about the Spartans in history. And I love to read about that kind of stuff. Haha.

This movie just looks so bad ass.

Haha yes! I know what you mean. Truth to be told, the story of Leonidas and 300 Spartans is one of the most intense stories in Greek history exactly because they were so few in numbers yet brave and fearless.

The trailer is amazing in itself, I will be utterly shocked if the movie isn't good. (I doubt that it'll be bad). Haha.
The slow motion that is used...the coloring the lighting...amazing. It was all done on green screen.

It's going to be amazing.

I saw the trailer when I went to see Ghost Rider.... full screen

I just wish I could see it in IMAX, but the closest one is Toronto

if I had the money I'd fly there just for that!

Jo - 15 friends and I have booked tickets for the Village cinemas, for the gold class on Thursday. Well some of my friends suggested gold class just for the fun on it and I said yes, not that I care. I only want to see the film.

I caaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan't wait.

yeah judging from the trailers and what I know so far I expect it to be brilliant. But I try not to be biased.
