I know we have a ton of artistic threads out there but I thought that I would make an art thread.

This thread is not only for you to post your drawings or paintings but all forms of artistic expression.

Post your music, photography, your photoshop manipulations, poems, songs, drawings, fashion designs, etc.

We seem to have a really creative/artistic bunch here, so it shall be exciting to see what people post.

great idea! i love all of your paintings and pictures, especially the women in the pink dress, it's gorgeous!

So for now all I have is photography. I just use my dinky digital camera, but I think they came out pretty well.

Nikki, I love you. This thread is a very good idea to see peoples artwork.

Your work is honestly very beautiful. Unfortunately, I have nothing to contribute other than Photography because I like taking pictures with my camera and photoshop artwork.

Ok so I attempted to sketch a fruit bowl, from a picture I found.

Holy shit @Nikki's art and photography. and @everyone's in general. @Jacqueline, I didn't know about your music. It sounds great. @Ashley, I love picture of the beach. @excessaccess, those are stunning.

I wish I could draw and paint, haha. I've spammed some of the stuff I've written in a few random threads, but for the sake of this thread...

Retrospection

So many only see bits and parts of me
They see the parts I've let float at sea
It's a shame that they'll never see
Just who I am today and who I'll be

Maybe one day all they'll know of me
Will only be these bottles and debris
What if everything that's left of me
Goes down as some books and cds, a laptop and tv

I admit that it scares me slightly

I never use rhyming that much, haha. Those lyrics just came though; I didn't think about it/didn't edit it, and it flowed. I've thought about taking out all the rhyming but I'm against it.

Well Jer...I don't really play the music or sing it. It isn't really "my music". Just friends that put music to my lyrics or sang them. Chelsea aka Thirty Seconds To Live sings one of them.

I think it is partly your music, but also partly theirs. I didn't mean it in a way to sound like it was only yours. I could only hear the first song (myspace hates when I listen to bands during busy hours) but I'll go back and check it later. 'Sup @Chelsea too then.
