I was watching this TLC show called Untold Stories of the E.R. and there was a woman w/ worms living in here scalp. This blogger gives the synopsis. My head itched all night at the mere thought of it.

Wow, it's disgusting, but I like seeing those things ...

so I did a little research (just "human worms" on google.com, then images) and the results are just ..... huh ... interesting ...

Here's something, for example ...

Hi, I'm a worm

Ahh ladies, if only you knew. Yes, this is ugly and could possibly turn your stomach but ...

There's worse ... Imagine studying medicine.

Your first year, and already you spent most of the day at the mortuary. It's not as extreme, but the exposure to the 'horror' is constant. When you get home, your hands smell like intestants.

Whooptiedoo for becoming a doctor! (a friend of mine just started medicine)

Nonetheless, I agree with Mary'sbuddha, these kinds of things are not gladly seen around here (by me)

I love these things.  The first time I ever see it I look away really fast and think "eww that's gross" then I take another glance at it and it's not so bad, so I start taking in every little detail of the picture.  It grosses me out, but the fascination and curiosity of it all just takes over.

There was one picture that was posted a LONG time ago on here...it was the result of someone letting a brown recluse spider bite go untreated.  I almost threw-up when I first saw it, but after a few minor glances it became a 'must-look' thing for me and I became fascinated.

Yeah, I'm sick.

There was a japanese guy, and he had parasitic worms in his cranium.  They cut the dude's head open, and it was the most disgusting, incredibly insane thing I have ever seen.  And, I've seen some crazy shit.
