I just got around to getting the Evanescence CD Fallen. I had liked the stuff I heard on the radio but never got into them before. Then I saw Amy with Jared at the VMAs so I thought I'd check them out. I am really impressed with that CD. Her voice is amazing. I think they have a new one out 10/6? Thank you Jared for bringing my attention to her. See how 30STM are enlightening us to new things everyday. LOL

I've always liked Evanescence but they are pretty disappointing live. Maybe Amy was having a bad day but she didn't sound very good. I did, however, get into another band through Evanescence and I've been a more avid fan of them (12 Stones) than of Evanescence.

Too bad Ben Moody wrote all the songs on the first album. I think he even wrote the lyrics for My Immortal if I recall correctly, but I could be mistaken. So she really doesn't do all that much. And he left the band so I'm assuming they're screwed.

Evanescence is so ghey, that Ben Moody actually went to go write songs for Avril Lavigne, who is a centigrade less gay than the aformentioned band.
