Ok, so I don't know how many people here have heard of the fashion rocks show in NYC, but its a big show with a ton of performers and celebrities. It's the one where they do the cingular vote thing to try and get 30stm to play there. Well, tickets are really expensive. But I found some on craigslist that were only 450 (which I know sounds like a lot, but these were 5th row seats, when 46th row seats are going for about 1500).
So I pounced on them
Bad idea
This guy sounded really legitimate. He gave me his address and phone number, and the phone number seemed to work, but then I sent the money today. And he sent back a tracking number. A fake one. So then I did research of this guy Shaun Nixon in Hamilton, Ontario. And he is a known scam artist. And now I have to go to the police station to get two documents, contact the FBI, the state attorney general, the nation fraud info center, the canadian FBI, and the canadian nation fraud department if I want a chance of catching this guy.
If anyone has any information about scam artists, or maybe this guy in general, it would be so greatly appreciated. Or if someone here lives in Canada and could just hop over to his supposed house and punch him in the face for me, that would be great too. His information is:

Normally you DO have to pay before you recieve an item, so you can't blame 'em there. But yeah...research is key.
I know I've been scammed before. Maybe I was gullible too. Whichever. Still sucks.

here are some things i can tell you that phone number he gave you he goes to that house at least every other day to pick up cheques tell the old man you might have gotten the address wrong and wanted to be sure or something like that
This ass has done alot of poeple wrong not only is he a scam artist which i have had the misfortune of witnessing (he never told me i clued in to when i was with him at "his office" which is a computer in a computer lab at mohawk college in hamilton)
but he is also a "ladies man" telling us what we want to hear.... and then cheating on us blah blah blah.... anyways i hope this information helps you out cuase this ass needs to be caught as well as claiming to be a comedian which is also a load of total crock

well just so you all know shaun nixon has turned up in vancouver bc and is still pulling the same scams as before. i actually met with the guy today as he replied to an ad i had on CL and we had been talking for a few weeks. now that i know all this crap about him i can tell you that ya he definatly is a scam artist and tries to be a ladies man and yes tells you what you want to hear. this loser needs to be stopped big time and if anyone wants to know where he is to go get him well here you go, heres his address and his email address so you can contact him your self. heres his address 6270 129a st surrey bc canada and his email is shaunisback07@hotmail.com
