Jared, are 30 seconds real? my personal feelings about my passion for artists

I do not know a lot about 30 seconds, I wonder for example if they ever will come in Italy for a tour, i never saw one of their interviews, and I'm interested to know. But I'm not a classic "fan", maybe I'll become, who knows. But there are few intense things that really shocked my soul. The first, in chronological terms, was when I saw "Requiem for a dream", many years ago, in the festival of Turin. Jared was a very young and skin protagonist of this film and It was great! I really would like to see him in another role like that, so disperate, sweet and intense, not a commercial film, cause he has a big talent. That movie changed my perception of life with the idea that sometimes, no matter wat you do, your destiny is done and you will never save. My life till now sounds as a requiem for many dreams. One of them is to live with other artists, to know them, to join their real world, write songs or make videos, to shear our impressions, to have an exchange. Cause when their music, their images lives in me, I want to break the screen, the virtuality, and make it more real and human. When I saw "the kill" video I felt so very strongly. This is a wonderful video, I'm still full of the desire to be in the video, to cry to Jared what I'm trying to rationalize here, as he does in the video with himself.
I must say now that I'm not a teenager anymore, I don't spend my nights over posters or things like that, even with all of my respect towards teenagers, that in this world seem the last ones able to dream. I'm 24, and well conscious of how a singer or a group shoud not become a mith, and of how often they are different from how we dream of them. I knew many artists, and stopped to love their music or their books, cause their were not as their music or their books. So I wander: How can one know if an artist in AUTHENTIC? And in this case, how can I know if my love is true, if 30 seconds to mars are authentic, are not a very well made construction of the showbusiness? I don't say they are, not at all, but I need a confirmation, and I fear that this will come only if I know them. Or maybe I should accept that artist could be different from what we love of them, and just live in my personal conception of their art, not trying to know more? Yes, I can do that, but desire is a feeling that can't live without the object of his passion. And I keep inside me deeply what I felt when I saw "the kill" video or when I listen to certain songs of 30 seconds. And I will carry it with me for many nigts again.
So,will you ever reply?

2. They are authentic. Listen to their music. Learn about the band, the message. It's both real and someone unreal at the same time.
3. I don't even know what you think of you. This post is wierd. We don't talk about Jared's acting career here very much. It's about the music, man.
(Don't forget, Jared isn't making this music alone. There *are* other members in the band, too.

And then I am going to say, if you know them or not when you watch interviews or hear (most) fans stories you can tell they are "real". They have passion and conviction and belief in what they do, write, say.
And then, I will go back to blinking.

i really don't know how you can think that this could be not a real band but just a showbusinness construction!
This is a real band made by passions, dreams and great talents!
If you don't own their two cds just go to a shop and buy them, you will listen their music, their lyrics and you will understand how 30STM is a real band.
You talked about Jared Leto movies carrier: also in this way you can recognaise the honesty.
Anyway: welkome to the universe!

But they are rising stars. And busy artists don't generally have the time to physically connect with fans. The personal connection comes from the art they create, and that's really how it's always been.

Yes, probably my post was weird cause I'm weird, and so what? A freak like "Edward Scissorshands" is what it explains me better. "maybe I'm a dreamer but I'm not the only one", said John Lennon, and for me to be a dreamer is to be safe, cause yor soul is not empty. Anyway i did not know that jared or others from the band are never on their forum, but I'm happy anyway to have written, cause I was wondering also about the distance betweewn artists and people, and the mass culture...thanks for your attention
