But they each mean one of the words of the band name.
I've never much looked into it. Do a search for glyphs here on the board, you should be able to find what you need.

All we really know is that each one represents a specific member of the band.

They basicly represent the band IMO they are RUNE symbols.
*********************
They are Ancient Hieroglyphics, they are actually made up i believe. and they
stand for the bands name. my interpertation...not confirmed as of yet.
1st Symbol - intertwined 3's standing for 30.
2nd Symbol - Clock Hands pointing counterclockwise supposed to mean
Seconds.
3rd Symbol - An inverted Roman Numeral of 2 (to).
4th Symbol - Drawing of Mars. the two dots represent Phobos and Diemos,
Mars' moons
And the second one....i sometimes think it is just his name. LETO cause if you look, there is an L an E a T and an O.

Damnit, bitch, gimme back my cat!
Symbols are assigned meaning by those who create them and by those who interpret them. toxxicchickxx, I recomment you research what other people have interpreted, what the band has said and then form your own opinion.

I still can't remember, either, but a good feeling tells me it was Artemis.

This is what she found out about the glyphics...
What do the glyphics mean?
It is believed that the four mysterious glyphics have two different meanings:
1. The first explanation is that they symbolize each of the four terrestrial planets.
The first symbol is two intertwined "M's" which could stand for Mercury.
The second symbol looks like it is rotating in the opposite direction and Venus rotates in the opposite direction of all the terrestrial planets.
The third symbol is the roman numeral three which stands for Earth, the third planet from the sun.
The fourth symbol is Mars. The two dots represent both of Mars's moons Phobos an Deimos.
2. The second explanation is that they stand for the bands name.
The first symbol is two intertwined threes representing 30.
The second symbol is rotating in the opposite direction, almost as if it is counting down which symbolizes seconds.
The third symbol is three vertical lines, but if you look in between them you get the roman numeral two which stands for to.
The last symbol represents Mars once again, with its two moons Phobos and Deimos.

The Glyphs merely are a creative way of spelling out 30 Seconds to Mars
I remember when this was a daily question on the boards...I sort of miss it.

The owner of that avatar is a Pelican fan. Which is awesome, because I think Pelican is actually a pretty original project, despite the naysayers.

That's a great quote. I saw them live with Opeth once, which was amazing. Do you have "Fire in our throats"?
