The modern rock station here in northern Michigan played WAS IT A DREAM yesterday. When the song finished the DJ said that it was 30STM and mentioned that Jared was the singer. He said he had always liked Jared as an actor but was completely blown away at the fact that he was the front man of 30, and went on to say how talented Jared was as a musician and artist. He told the listeners if they got the opportunity to see 30 to do so as they will BLOW YOU AWAY. He said that Jared's stage presense is amazing and that he takes control of the crowd. He also said he has never seen a band interact with fans the way 30STM does and that 30 is fast becoming his favorite band!!

I think I love that DJ!!

It's great to hear a good review of the band for once. I love it when DJ's give the band a chance and are plesantly surprised, it's even better when they are'blown away' and rave about them!

And I'd love to hear WIAD on the radio! awesome

Wow!! I can't believe they played Was it a dream? Was it the album version? I would go crazy if I heard that!

And that's great that the DJ had so many great things to say!

shhhhuuweeeeet !

they finally started to play them here the other day and they were talking about how it took 5 yrs to make the first album and three to make the second, then Matt was saying that the next will be done in one and Jared's in the background like pfft yea right, and Matt was all no it'll take more like a week lol..

I love how DJs at alternative stations (more and more seem to be getting out from Clear Channel which really helps with expanding the playlist) are giving the guys a chance. That or they are getting sick of our avalanche of emails, letters, and phone calls requesting them now.

That was awesome of that particular one. I've had a conversation with a few from San Diego who are disappointed that the band isn't on their set playlist, but I was happy to discover they just got added to one of our two stations now.

If I heard Was It A Dream... any version... on the radio here... I think I'd hunt down the DJ and molest him for playing it.

side note- at the gym today, they played the Capricorn music video. I nearly fell off the tread mill.

Perhaps that's in Mars time, which we all know is vastly different from standard Earth time. But I love Jared's reaction.

Hey that's great news! I'm pretty sure now that this DJ will play them more. Nice to see he said such praising words for Jared and how the band interacts with the fans.
