Stupid Idea..."petition" [rant]

i'm sorry, but this is a really stupid idea. if you want to go to the ball, then you get the money and go. you don't petition and beg and try to force them to do it. you show them how bad you want to see them by going to L.A. for their last show of the tour. all bands do something cool on the last date of their tour that they don't do for the other dates and if you want to be part of that then you need to get the $ and go.
don't have the money? too bad! If you want to go bad enough you'll find the money, lots of people have. Jezus, when did 30 fans become so fucking whiney and complain so damn much? If you want to go to the show, ROAD TRIP the way 30 fans have been doing since the beginning.

i can't either, but i did back in December, the last show of last year. it's not too badly expensive, find people to room with, and people to pick you up from the airport. meet up, lots of people, from lots of states, do it every show!

If you want a ball so bad, then join in on Amanda's project (which will actually get to the guys, and you can still dress up in blood) . Don't bitch and moan on Myspace.

It's not that easy for some of these kids. If they want to make a petition let them...like i said..it's not hurting anyone! Some people have obligations and can't run to LA to a ball. Thats ludicrous.

If people want to waste their time and energy making a petition, I say let them... its just not going to work and who is it going to harm? I don't think the band will be offended- I'm sure they have enough things to think about other than a stupid myspace petition. I don't think the petitioners are "rude", I mean- they have the right to voice their opinions as much as the band has the right to make the ball wherever the hell they choose. Fans are allowed to express their unsatistfaction. To me, that is not as "rude" as someone saying that 30stm fans "suck"... lol.

It's also ludicrous to suggest the band needs to have a similar event somewhere else, as the petition is doing.

That's another thing I don't get about things like this on myspace. When somebody posts the petition its good, but then you have 16 of your friends repost it and you have 12741902365 different names on line number 23.
You're welcome.

Yeah. Theres no harm in them petitioning.. There just isn't much utility from it.
