Ah, yes, video games. The wonderful world- wasting braincells, you say? Bah. Videogames prove to be far more than that. They can give you reflexes a cat would envy, force you to think far more quickly than you probably will for any other reason in your life, and even make you curl up in a the fetal position while whimpering and sucking your thumb.

I'm a horror game kind of girl, so I shall now discuss the gems that are Silent Hill (2-4) and Fatal Frame II, as well as Siren, all of which gave me nightmares at some point. Tell as many moments you love, from as many games as you like. Threads like these can get rather interesting. People who aren't gamers... hah, just look up the parts I mentioned.

Silent Hill 2:

-Pyramid Head, when you go down the ladder to where his room is, and it's all weird and hazy and dark, and he's down there with that hugeass knife...
-Oh, and those monsters that hung from the ceiling and tried to kill you (they were a boss, IIRC.)

Silent Hill 3:

-The horses on the carousel, with the hooks and the weird noises... :\
-Alternate Hospital 3F Storage Room. Really surreal, and scary as shit.

Silent Hill 4:
-The baby twin things. They'd stand there in the fog, and you could barely see them, then they'd start SHRIEKING and charge...
-The girl. In. The. Subway. With the hair everywhere, and the weird noises, and the cut scene... I had to pause the game, then leave the room for like ten minutes. I'm badass, I know.



Fatal Frame II:
-Random creepy things, like a cabinet would open for no reason.
-When you reach into a cabinet and that girl is just THERE, staring at you.
-Naturally, the girl that comes out of the well

Siren:
-The fucking creepy zombie cop who GIGGLES when he shoots at you.


Anyway, I've just revived enough memories to give me nightmares for a week.

I was almost in tears when I saw the Aeris thing in FF7. Thats definately my favorite of the series. My brother is a huge video game nerd, so thats where I get it from. But I remember watching the mini-movie in the game and having tears in my eyes..

I think it was just 'cause we did it too much between my friends and myself, but killing the crab in Crystal Chronicles was waaaaaay too much fun.

Other than that, my favourite moment was in just about any James Bond game my brother had when we'd play against one another and I FINALLY got that clear shot and catch him off guard. Weee. That was fun. Then, in Goldeneye drawing smilies on the walls in paintball mode. Ahh those were the days

EDIT: Oh yeah, and I loved Soul Calibur 2. Anytime I won in the Weaponmaster area. Mmm. Just in general setting up massive arcade battles with my brother and at the last minute, someone winning over the other. Ahhh

IN delta force:black hawk down online i got 49 knife kills and ranked number 1 in the arena, and again when aries died and when raziel died in legacy of kain defiance and when i got knights of the round in ff7.and a golden chocobo. and when i beat zone of the enders 2nd runner in less than 2 hrs. and when i won the tekken championship in detroit. and when i beat all the metal gears in a row in 5 hrs...yea im kind of a gamer guy nerd thingy.

interesting choice...another one for me was in soul reaver 2 when raziel got to use the actual blade version of the soulreaver. and kill his living sarafan counter part. which was aktualy himself only hundreds of years erlier.

my favourite moment in redident evil 4 : when i kill the last boss!!! but it was too easy, or another game wich i really like is project zero 2 crimsom butterfly it's so creepy!!! and when i fight the last boss... it was a great victory because it makes me have white hairs!!!!!! and i didn't finished the hard mode yet !!!!

Mine was the ultimate ending for FFX-2! I cried through the ending of X and was so relieved that everything worked out in X-2! Yay! Goooooo Yuna!
