everyday likes its the last--but with a view of realism..obviously i couldnt just take a trip to india if i wanted. I have a job, a kid...etc. so i take what my life is about--then just live it to the fullest.

Yes, the sun's out the blue jays are singing outside my house... of course, a blue jay's call is the most gawdawful sound you'll ever hear... more a screach, really..

My life took a swing for the worse recently... suddenly I find myself unemployed, living with my parents with no way of getting around (last month I had a good job, a good car, and my own place by the beach... all gone). Trying to find a good job sucks. On the up side, I've got time to relax and do things that I've been putting off.

In other words, seizing carpe is a difficult thing to do... I'd better stop wasting time on the internet message boards...

Me too! Well, I didnt have a good job but it paid the rent and I still have my car, I just cant afford driving it anymore and my apartment may have been in a questionable area - but I liked it.

It´s all good though. "It´s only after you´ve lost everything that you´re free to do anything" whoever said that (dont remember the name of the author but you might remember it coming out of Tylers mouth in FC) I think it´s true in a way. I would hate wasting my life working with something I dont like just to maintain a lifestyle I dont need. So now that I´m just back at doing nothing I´ll start doing what I really want. Hopefully it`ll work out.

I'm just living it. Not living it up.

No carpeing my diem.

I'm pathetic. If I like a guy, I sit there + stare, not do anything. If he looks at me, I look away. I'm so effing shy.

And if I want to do something, I think it through, make sure it's smart, then do it.

I'm lame.

Question: Can one be alive if feeling dead inside?

Being alive makes it kinda hard to know what being dead feels like. Therefore, I think you can assume that you´re alive. You pretty much live til you die. Cheer up smile.gif

It depends on the day...some days I simply exist and go about my various tasks. Other days I actually seize the moment and DO stuff. Those are the better days.

I love this thread good question. I am doing what I want to and loving it. Is it my dream life no.....My dream life would be to be rich enough to have the flexiblity to do what I want when I want and how I want.....But that is the dream....That can become a reality if I want it to.... Most importantly is health though. You cannot put a price tag on that that is priceless and can never be bought....

Good quote for achieving what are heart desires is:

"Destiny is not a matter of chance it is a matter of choice it is not a thing to be waited for it is a thing to be achieved."

In other words what ever your heart desires you can grab it....If that's what makes you happy!

I'm living life. I've spent too much time merely existing... now I've come to the realization that you really are young only once, so I'd better enjoy it while it lasts! I'm still responsible enough to function, but I treat every day as a chance to try something new.

I live life everyday. Some days are better than others as are months and even years. I may be unemployed right now and I'm hiding my car so it isn't reposessed but oh well, that's what we call life! I did just jump cross country and I'm exploring new ground. If you don't live each day as if it is your last, you could be missing out on shit that may mean nothing or be monumental. You'll never know unless you hold your head up high and check it out for yourself.
Stop feeling sorry for yourself and use this down time as a learning experience and live. No one likes a whiner.

Yesterday is the gone, that's why it is called history.
Tomorrow is unknown and called a mystery.
Today is a gift, that is why we call it the present.

Boovya... The color of music is blue.
