I am an iTunes junkie, but when there is a CD that looks like there was thought put into the cosmetics of an album, I'll pay the extra 4 dollars and I'll buy it, but still import the songs into iTunes for use in my ipod.

Is 30 seconds to mars so much against Content sharing that they have to tattoo Content Protected and FBI Piracy Warnings all over their album and prevent me from using iTunes with it? If this is true, I would appreciate it if the band/management would offer me a complimentary download on iTunes or inform me of how I can extract the tracks from the CD to be put into iTunes, it would continue my faith in not stealing music and supporting new and old artists by paying for the music.

my ipod is my bible...

Thank you very much for your time.

Search for Incognito's wonderful FAQ page. She completely explains how to get the new album onto your IPod.

Plus, it's not always the band that requests the Anti-Piracy bullshit, but more-so the record label's because pirates take the label's money too, and nobody's cool with that !!

Hello all. Don't know what your policy is for digging up old threads, but it appears that the link in Incognito's sig to the FAQ is no longer working. Does anyone else have the steps to get around the Content Protection in order to get the tracks onto iTunes?

"thanks for your help guys, its a pain in the ass to save the tracks, then burn them, then import to itunes but its what i gotta do! thanks again!"

According to this, do we use the save tracks feature on the disk software, burn the tracks onto an audio CD and then rip that onto iTunes? It's one thing I was going to try, but can't try it until I get home from work sad.gif

Thanks for any help you can provide!

Yes.

Upload the songs to the computer, burn a CD, rip to iTunes. smile.gif
