i know this is short notice too....matt pinfield will be here along with ed sloan of crossfade (he's a native) for a free music forum at the Columbia Museum of Art. That's at 2pm...the music is free all day on saturdays and it's on main st.

meanwhile, just across the river in The Vista from about noon- midnight, 25 bands for 1 5$ wristband. Several venues, ARTBAR is my fave (wonder if the one in seattle is still there.

bands i'd recommend --- Danielle Howe (SC native, toured with the Indigo Girls, a true INDIE girl i with a lovely soul), black bottom biscuits, (yup, that means burned, rednecks from sumter, sc, capitalizing on their roots with songs like "My hillbilly cousin is a porn star") blue grassy, always fun.

Vinyl are my Pants...never seen them, was going to help them do their first video but it fell through.....
