It's not what you think, Shot In The Dark was by Ozzy. I know that.
There was a CD that I picked up a few years back, and I was discussing with a friend of mine about it the other day. I've since lost the disc and for the life of me, I can't remember the name of the Band, the Album, or any song titles. It's awful, I know.
The only thing I can remember is that I got the disc as a promo copy when I was working in radio a few years back after seeing their video on MTVX. So, that had to have been 1999 or 2000. The video was just a 4 piece rock band performing in a room with thousands of cables tangled over the floor and the film had a blue-ish tint to it.
I want to say "Summa" or something like that, but I know that's not it. If you don't remember the band, maybe someone can help me find an old MTVX playlist. I haven't been able to do that either. For some reason, I want to say that Danny Lohner had something to do with it. Either production, recording, or programming. I could be completely wrong though. Thanks in advance.

I think the band you are thinking of is Sunna.
Amazon.com: Sunna - One Minute Silence
I saw them open for A Perfect Circle a few years back, they were pretty good!

That's it. Thanks so much!
Where have all the old-schoolers been? I really haven't checked this site out with any regularity for about 2 years. Pantheon has turned into fucking daycare.
